She informed us on June , that she had concerns about cleaning her coat, as it was very old and this concerned meShe gave us permission to clean her coatWe clean coats of this type many times, however, we never know how the fabric or fabric content will respond to cleaning as I explained this to her
Her coat was cleaned to both our satisfactions
Ms*** did return again, one year later, on June , 2015, again reminding us of the age of her coat that also had several cigarette burn holes
I, the manager, dry cleaned her coat personallyI agree it should have been dry cleaned again before it went out, however, it got pass my inspection in the bagging area
When MS***, called an was not happy, we apologized by agreeing to redo her coat at no chargeThe coat looked great after the second cleaning
I, the manager, talked with Ms*** on the phone and if she had mentioned that she felt like she needed a refund, I would have obliged
We will gladly Ms*** a check for

I am accepting the business's response solely because I want no further contact with Volk Cleaners.  I do not wish a refund, since the check would probably not arrive.  (A good business practice is, when a customer makes three trips to your store for what should have been a one-trip errand [in 90 degree heat], you OFFER a refund.)  Ms. [redacted]'s response to this complaint and her statements to me on the phone are not entirely honest.  That's what bothers me most of all.
Please close this matter, and thank you for processing my complaint.  I did want it on record.
