Review: Dealership promised to make two outstanding payments if I will enter in a new lease agreement. They made only one payment and refuse to make a second one.

Date of new lease agreement is 10/**/2014Desired Settlement: Make outstanding payment $325.00

Review: I purchased a 2008 BMW 335xi with 68391 miles from Coney Island Motors DBA City Auto Group LLC on 10/**/15. This purchase included an EXTENDED WARRANTY covering the vehicle for 60 days or 3000 miles. On 11/**/15 with 69522 miles, my vehicle became disabled on the highway at 1 AM. I had to maneuver the vehicle to the shoulder and was stranded there for over an hour. Cars were speeding past me in the dark and this put my vehicle and most importantly my life at risk. The SERVICE ENGINE SOON light came on blinking and my navigation screen read "ENGINE MALFUNCTION take to nearest BMW facility. On 11/**/15 I contacted the owner (Ray) and he tried to dismiss the issue. I told him the car became disabled and he made me tow the vehicle from my residence in Long Island to his repair facility in Brooklyn on my expense. I arranged for the tow and my vehicle was in his possession on 11/**/2015. Ray had THREE mechanics diagnose the vehicle and they came to the conclusion that the DME (Digital Motor Electronics) aka the engine computer, was faulty and fried. Ray could not call me directly but instead, he had one of his service mechanics to contact me and say that he will not cover the repairs for this fault. I owned the car for less than ONE MONTH and it became completely disabled which is unbelievable and absurd for a 2008 model car with only 68k miles. My father gave Ray a call one morning to discuss this issue and see if we can come to a resolution peacefully. Ray dismissed my father and told him that he will NOT speak to him at all regarding this issue. Ray's mechanic offered to repair my vehicle for a price and due to the fact that I needed my vehicle as soon as possible due to my employment, I gave him the go to repair it. He promised me the vehicle would be complete by 12/*/15. I called him that day and everyday after that and he could not repair the vehicle. He even gave it to another mechanic and he could not repair it either. In my frustration I demanded them to return my vehicle. On 12/*/15 I came with a tow truck on my expense again and towed it from Brooklyn back to my residence in Long Island. I towed my vehicle again to a reputable BMW master facility who does outstanding work on BMWs. The owner reassured me that he would fix my vehicle and have it running 100% in a timely manner. He diagnosed the issue and said it was a faulty DME and also stated that whoever was repairing my vehicle tried to open the DME and repair it in an unprofessional way by soldering a new diode on the motherboard. He could have seriously put my car and life in jeopardy by taking this shortcut. My mechanic ordered me a brand new DME and programmed it to my vehicle, the PROPER way. It took him ONE day to fix my vehicle and get it up and running. The DME is a MAJOR and CRUCIAL part of the any modern day vehicle and it will NOT run properly if it is faulty or even tampered with. The parts and labor for this job costed $2057.95, which I have a dated invoice for. I paid this out of my pocket to get my vehicle running so I can go to work. I work very hard for my money and to lose over $2000 was huge loss for me. I owned the vehicle for 28 days and drove it 1131 miles which is under my warranty limit and it became completely disabled during that time. I finally got my vehicle back after three weeks of this constant headache. During those three long weeks, it was a very difficult time for me and my family. My father had to constantly drop and pick me up for work. I usually take my mother to doctor appointments due to her health conditions ([redacted] etc.) and because my father works two jobs and my vehicle was disabled, she would have to miss appointments or I would assist her on public transportation.Desired Settlement: All I would like is for Ray to pay for the repairs for my vehicle which I paid out of my pocket. The parts, labor, and sales tax came out to $2057.95. I will not ask for other compensation that I had to endure during this difficult time for me and my family which includes days off from work due to towing vehicle, public transportation costs, towing the vehicle etc.
