This is our response to MrPhilip P*** who purchased a VW Atlas on 6/23/At the time of purchased MrP*** wanted to add accessories, a hitch and running boardsAt this time VW of America did not have these accessories availableWe explain to him multiple times that
we do not have these accessories at this time and the time lines we have been given from VW is that they'll be available late summerThe other issue he had was the vehicle he purchased did not have a power frt seat which he brought up weeks after the saleI checked with VW and other aftermarket companies to see if we could have a power seat installed which isnt available aftermarket and cant be installed OEM in that trim levelI have offered MrP*** all of this information and in addition he also filed a customer complaint with VW of America because both the hitch and running boards are not available to which they explained to him the delay in these partsThe only solution to get MrP*** an Atlas with power seats, hitch and running boards would be to go into a higher trim level which he was not open toWe collected $for the running boards-mudflaps and a loading plateI will be issuing a full reimbursement in the amount of $AND we already installed the mudflaps which I will be covering as wellI explained all of this to MrP*** and he was very happy with this outcome and will be writing you another letter explaining thisThanks! Reg P*** General Manager Volkswagen of Inver Grove

Bait and switchFor two days the price of a car was advertised at $9,but now they are asking over $14,

I bought a certified pre-owned VW CC at approximately 20,miles from Inver Grove VW on Dec There has been several issues with the car since I bought it and Inver Grove VW was pretty responsive to these issues and fixed them as any good business would taking responsibility of product and service they are providingThere is one specific issue which I am here to talk aboutMy has a black leatherette and there seems to be a white stain on the rear passenger seat since the time I've purchased this vehicleFirst time when I took the vehicle back to the dealership, they dyed the leatherette assuming it was cosmetic and nothing deeper, I wasn't really happy about the results but it didn't bother me as much since you couldn't see the stain unless you paid a very close attention to it
For whatever reason, the white stain keeps coming back with seasonal changes and every start of the winter I pretty much have to take the vehicle back to themThe most recent visit was I believe my third visit for this same issueThe second time when I taken my vehicle in, the service rep told me they will be replacing the leatherette as dying doesn't seem to be workingIt was my fault to not check the details of it but they never "replaced" anything except re-dying itOn my most recent visit, it was the same story I had to repeat over again and service manager tried to push this issue on me by saying that they will try to reach Volkswagen to see if this could be a MFG defect but considering this is a year vehicle and this could be a wear, I doubt we would be able to do much with itI clearly told him that this is now MFG defect, this is your dealership sales issue who sold me the vehicle like this, I need you to look into the records of what work was performed right before the vehicle was sold to me and show me why vehicle was sold to me with this defect and not mentioned anywhereThe service manager would not share any records prior to me owning the vehicle and kept insisting he would reach out to VolkswagenI let him do what he needed to do trusting him on his expertise and do the right thingA week later, I get a call that VW does not think this is a MFG defect and he can talk to the sales manager and see if they would be willing to do anythingI get a call 1-days later that sales manager will not be taking care of this issue since this is a years old car and it must be a wear issue and not their problemThe dealership, sales and service are clearly denying all the facts that are in their service records and cheating customers this wayWhen I asked a straight question that is the sales manager denying that he is not willing to take responsibility of selling me a vehicle with a defect?, service manager responded that I don't have anything to do with it, they just tell us what repair need to be completed so I suggest you have a conversation with the sales managerHow are you running a business like this when cross functional teams are pointing fingers at each otherNo accountability or responsibilityI expect better from a dealership from whom you purchase a $ 24,vehicle and I'm sure others would share the same opinionThe dealership has left me with no choice but to live with this defect on my vehicle and I'm only writing this review to warn other consumers to make sure you do you diligence before starting a relationship with Invergrove VW
My last words are, if you are putting your hard earned money into a vehicle that you would love to purchase, DON'T give your money to this dealershipThere are much better places out there with much better service and responsible peopleI have already taken my service business away from them and now I get my service done at St Louis Park Westside VW, much much much better customer service even though I haven't bought vehicle from them

Good Afternoon,With regard to Mr. [redacted]'s complaint, I apologize for any confusion that arose from the vehicle pricing that occurred.  We experienced a software issue that double some of the incentives on vehicles and when it was discovered we immediately corrected the mistake.  I assure...

you that there was not any attempt to mislead anyone.   Thank you for your time and understanding. David [redacted]

(Revdex.com NOTE: Complaint was previously closed as having been 'Answered.' Then received following letter by mail, confirming that consumer considers matter resolved.) Gentlemen,Received your letter assignment ID 12376026 that was about Volkswagen of Inver Grove.I have been in discussion with the Manager of the company and I'm happy to report I had with Mr Reg P[redacted]  on the mentioned assigned ID and we have reached a satisfaction and a good discussion of what caused these erring problems due to some miss information.I'm satisfied that we have moved to amend what had grown to some degree out of merit. My feeling is that Mr P[redacted]  and my self have this situation behind us.Thank you for the support and I consider the case as closed. Sincerely,Philip E P[redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/07/27) */
Invoice # [redacted] dated 1/8/15 - The intake manifold was replaced due to a faulty intake flap that was sticking and creating the "check engine" light to come on.
Invoice #[redacted] dated 7/13/15 - The Intake manifold had to be replaced again...

due to a failed intake flap. The flap came apart. This was covered by the Volkswagen parts and labor replacement warranty.
Both Parts are new, not refurbished. This is fact due to a refurbished part number ends in the letter 'X". Both Manifolds were new when installed.
The advisor was mistaken and there was a miscommunication between two employees.
The complete manifold requires replacement because the flap is not serviceable separately .
Repairs completed on invoice # [redacted]. Vehicle running to factory specs. No other driveability issues detected at that time.
