Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: To get to the point of the main complaint I had regarding the purchase of the VW Golf with approximately 51K miles from VW of Kingston and the service of that vehicle prior to purchase, there were (at least) three recommended services that should have been done before 50K miles (as recommended in the manual for that car) but were not (according to the information given by VW of Kingston to VW of America and relayed to myself) that I am addressing:1) Transmission fluid & filter at 40K (which cost me approximately $at my reputable mechanic)2) Spark plugs changed at 40K (which cost me approximately $195.00)3) Brake fluid flushed/changed (which cost me approximately $76.00)I also had an air filter changed The total (with tax) for these services at my reputable mechanic was approximately $ As a side note - this car has an annoying dashboard indicator with a "service now" reminder that sounds every time the car is started (reminders are always good) This indicator is shut off by the mechanic once the work is completed. At this time, I am not interested in having a back & forth with VW of Kingston in regards to my experience with themThough I would like to inform them that even though a carfax report was provided when requested, not all the important information is available to the purchaser without a fee And I still feel it is good for the purchaser to have an accurate service recordIf the requested $will not be reimbursed by VW of Kingston, I am not interested in pursuing this further What has been done is done - lesson learned In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

To get to the point of the main complaint I had regarding the purchase of the 2013 VW Golf with approximately 51K miles from VW of Kingston and the service of that vehicle prior to purchase, there were (at least) three recommended services that should have been done before 50K miles (as recommended in the manual for that car)  but were not (according to the information given by VW of Kingston to VW of America and relayed to myself) that I am addressing:1) Transmission fluid & filter at 40K (which cost me approximately $172.00 at my reputable mechanic)2) Spark plugs changed at 40K (which cost me approximately $195.00)3) Brake fluid flushed/changed (which cost me approximately $76.00)I also had an air filter changed.  The total (with tax) for these services at my reputable mechanic was approximately $506.00.  As a side note - this car has an annoying dashboard indicator with a "service now" reminder that sounds every time the car is started (reminders are always good).  This indicator is shut off by the mechanic once the work is completed. At this time, I am not interested in having a back & forth with VW of Kingston in regards to my experience with them.... Though I would like to inform them that even though a carfax report was provided when requested, not all the important information is available to the purchaser without a fee.  And I still feel it is good for the purchaser to have an accurate service record. If the requested $500 will not be reimbursed by VW of Kingston, I am not interested in pursuing this further.  What has been done is done - lesson learned.
