Volt is a staffing service where we are paid by our client to source and match our candidates to their specific job opening In today’s job market, we will get a couple hundred responses to an internet postingFrom those responses, we will bring in a handful of candidates whose resume reflects the background of what our client is seeking Many times we are competing with other staffing companies, or our client’s own search, to fill the position So we may pay for an internet posting, spend the time scheduling and interviewing the appropriate candidates, submitting resumes to the client, and still not get to fill the order Responding to Ms [redacted] ’s complaint, our records show that we did bring her in for an interview in July, where she meet with [redacted] , our Senior Recruiter [redacted] told her that she would submit her resume and if the client requested an in-person interview with her, [redacted] would contact her at that time Further, if she didn’t hear from [redacted] , to call her for an update and be put on our Availability Report that all recruiting staff in the branch use to match candidates to any open position we get(Many clients do not give us an update on the individual resumes submitted and we just have to draw the conclusion they had no interest in an in-person interview) In August, we emailed and phoned Ms [redacted] regarding another open position (see attached email string from [redacted] ) This order was filled with another candidate and [redacted] let her know that in her 8/27/email In late December, [redacted] took her Availability call and let her know that during the holidays many of our clients were closed and most definitely very slow if they weren’t closed, and it would most likely pickup after the holidays We apologize that we didn’t receive more opportunities for her to be considered by our clients, but unfortunately that is the job market that exists at this time Our system shows that our Lakewood office has recently been in contact with Ms [redacted] , who has submitted her resume to some of their open positions We appreciate the time that Ms [redacted] took to come to our office to apply Unfortunately, we do not create the jobs we only match our candidates’ background and experience to what our client is contracting us to find Further, today our clients are very specific about what background they are seeking and if that experience and background is not on their resume as recent work history, they typically take a pass I have left a voice message this morning at 11:for Ms [redacted] to call me I hope this information is helpful and I am hopeful to clear this up directly with Ms [redacted] when she returns my call Sincerely,

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [The statements are inaccurate as I was never told to call after I met with [redacted] I was told that she would contact meAlso she NEVER contacted me about any position by phone, I received an email blast in regard to a loan processing job in august when I met with them in julyAfter that email I never heard anything until I tried contacting again by email with no response and by phone multiple times but the rude receptionist guy sent me to voicemail twiceWhen I finally spoke to someone she said it was slow and she would put me on an available list and I still have not been contactedI then reapplied for the original position I applied for in july which they said was no longer hiring yet I still see new positions for that job and was sent a email basically saying that I wasn't qualified for when clearly my background is customer service and call center, but okayIf this position for the same company has more opening why wasn't I contacted when I am certain I am more than qualifiedI spoke with [redacted] and was unmoved with her response and bad cover up trying to insinuate that [redacted] told me to call if I did not hear back when that was clearly not the caseThis is not my first go round with staffing agency's, I know exactly how they work and this was just totally unprofessional***'s staff members dropped the ball, point blank period.] Regards, [redacted]

[The statements are inaccurate as I was never told to call after I met with [redacted] I was told that she would contact me. Also she NEVER contacted me about any position by phone, I received an email blast in regard to a loan processing job in august when I met with them in july. After that email I never heard anything until I tried contacting again by email with no response and by phone multiple times but the rude receptionist guy sent me to voicemail twice. When I finally spoke to someone she said it was slow and she would put me on an available list and I still have not been contacted. I then reapplied for the original position I applied for in july which they said was no longer hiring yet I still see new positions for that job and was sent a email basically saying that I wasn't qualified for when clearly my background is customer service and call center, but okay. If this position for the same company has more opening why wasn't I contacted when I am certain I am more than qualified. I spoke with [redacted] and was unmoved with her response and bad cover up trying to insinuate that [redacted] told me to call if I did not hear back when that was clearly not the case. This is not my first go round with staffing agency's, I know exactly how they work and this was just totally unprofessional. [redacted]'s staff members dropped the ball, point blank period.]

Sincerely,

Review: I initially went in for an interview for employment with this agency in July of 2013. I got there filled out paper work and spoke with [redacted]. She collected my information and interviewed me for the call center position they had open. After that I heard nothing from them ever again regarding position or any other position. I emailed them with no response, I also called got transferred to voice-mail and she was never available. I finally got a hold of someone and she informed me that she would mark me available and I would be contacted after the holidays. Never heard anything nor was I contacted. I called again and spoke with her and she said she didn't remember me and that it ws so long ago but would mark me available. We are now 1 1/2 months into the year and I still have not heard anything. I feel like my time was wasted and I gave them sensitive information and was never contacted in regards to employment. This is very unprofessional on their part. I am very upset and I want to know what is going on?Desired Settlement: I want to know why I was never contacted for employment along with an apology. I would also like all of the documents I signed back because there of no use to them seeing as though they have never contacted me in over months. I would like to speak with corporate and make them aware of this issue because this is not the way business should be conducted.
