Dear *** [redacted] , I appreciate your interest in one of our vehiclesI certainly understand your feelings On Saturday when you and your wife were in the showroom looking at the *** we agreed to take a deposit to hold the vehicle until you came back on Monday.Monday, when you returned, you made an offer on the *** that was not accepted and we refunded your deposit checkLater that day we called to see if there was a compromise that we could work towardsWe spoke to your wife and she said she would have to get you to call us backAnother customer showed up to inquire about the same vehicleWe allowed them to test drive the [redacted] because at this point we had not heard from youOur policy allows the customer test driving the vehicle to have first right of refusalThe reason for this policy is that if a sales person had a prospect on a vehicle he saw another customer test driving he could easily contact his prospect to get a deposit to take the vehicle off the marketThe customer test driving wouldn’t even have an opportunity to purchase itWhen you called back to discuss your purchase you were informed that another customer was test driving the ***We were allowing them to make their decision before we could sell it to youWe informed you that the other customers did purchase the vehicle I hope this helps explain the reasoning behind our decisionI'm sorry that you did not get to purchase the vehicle you were interested inI will do everything possible to assist you in finding a similar [redacted] at a very good valuePlease let me know if I can be of further assistance Regards [redacted] Operations Manager Volvo of Richmond [redacted]

Dear Mr [redacted] I'm writing in reference to: [redacted] - 174,miles Purchase date 2/16/Purchase price $5,Limited 45-Day Warranty During the test drive you mentioned there was some noise while drivingWe evaluated the car and determined the only noise present was originating from the tiresThe tires passed Virginia State Inspection but did have some edge wearWe rotated the tires in an effort to eliminate or reduce the noise as much as possibleWe did not determine any other reason for the noise complaint On March 7, you brought the vehicle back because a check engine light was on but we have no record on the repair order of the noise complaint during this visitAt no time during the limited warranty period did we ever determine any other reason for the original noise complaint other than the tiresI'm sorry that you've had some issues with your car and, although it is outside of the limited warranty period, would agree to take a look to see if there is anything we can do to assist you Please call me to arrange an appointment Regards, [redacted]

We have spoken with Mr*** several timesThe latest date is an email on 04/20/We are working with *** *** *** to resolve the titling issueAs we've discussed with Mr*** there have been difficulties communicating with someone personally at *** *** ***We are
working to provide the requested documents to *** at this time.

I have been a customer of Moore’s Volvo of Richmond (now Volvo of Richmond) since That year I purchased a new *** * *** and had it regularly serviced by the dealer (Moore’s)I put 340,miles on the car before purchasing another vehicleI had absolutely no issues with Moore’s Service DepartmentIn 2010, I purchased a used *** *** from *** with about 40,miles on itThe car performed and ran perfectlyAs with my previous ***, I took this car to Moore’s to have all the regular services so as to keep the car in good running orderRecently, after about 120,miles, my fuel pump began to falter, so I took it to what is now, Volvo of Richmond (Broad Street location), to have the pump replaced and the tires rotatedHowever, once I got my car back, I began to experience problemsFirst, the air conditioner stopped workingThe dealer put Freon in it and that leaked out in hoursI then took the car back again and they found a leak in the A/C hose (why didn’t they check that the first time????), but they didn’t have one in stock, so I had to make a 4th trip, in one week, to have the hose replaced! A few days later I took a 125-mile trip and noticed a sever shimmy in the front endAt this point Volvo of Richmond was not going to get my business backI took the car to a reputable mechanic in *** He found a worn rear tire with the metal fibers exposedDid I mention that when I took my car in to Volvo of Richmond I asked for a tire rotation when they were replacing the fuel pump?? I subsequently purchased new tires from the mechanic’s shop in ***, and had a front and rear end alignments performedThe shimmy has been completely eradicated and the car rides smoothlyA couple of days later, my fuel gauge started working intermittently(The fuel gauge sensor is attached to the fuel pump, where you guessed it, Volvo of Richmond replaced the fuel pump referenced above.) I had none of the fore mentioned issues prior to having a new fuel pump installedIt almost appears like the dealer fixed one issue and created other mechanical problems either accidentally or otherwiseThe fuel pump replacement was approximately $1,100.00; the A/C repair was over $My advice: if you have a Volvo, stay as far away from Volvo of Richmond as you can!!
