I would like to close this complaint.

Review: On 5/17/13, I ordered a wheel from this company. It was the wrong wheel and I returned it to them via UPS(1z78RXXXXXXXXXXXXX)on 6/10/13 with a picture of the correct one as per [redacted]. A person names [redacted] signed for it. After 2 weeks of no activity I called [redacted] again and he said he would e-mail his address so that I could forward the picture again. This is now Nov 2013 and I have not received any e-mail from him. [redacted]

Initial Business Response

I had the opportunity to speak to our customer about his complaint. He had a negative experience with a sales associate that is no longer with our company. Our customer is a reasonable man and still needed the part for his car and gave us a chance to get it for him. Unfortunately we were out of stock on the part he needed and I issued him a complete refund. I hope we have a chance to earn his business again.

When the company's representative called me, and after explaining my situation to him, he ask me to send a picture of the product I requested. The next day he called back and said he did not have that item in stock and offered to refund my money. The refund has been received and I am satisfied.

Review: Called to inquire about a set of wheels that was pictured on the company's website. Spoke with an employee who stated that the wheels were original [redacted] wheels and guaranteed that they were legitimate due to the fact that he was "the [redacted] expert" of their business. Went through with the transaction and received the wheels a couple of days later. Upon inspection of the wheels, it was noted that they were replicas and NOT original [redacted] factory wheels like the employee stated. After comparing them with photos of known originals as well as other factory [redacted] wheels, I proceeded to call the company and inquire about the wheels. Upon speaking with the same employee, he reiterated that he is certain of the wheels being legitimate and stated that only original wheels had a rectangular cutout on the face of the wheel for an emblem. 4 out of the 5 wheels did indeed have the cutout. After telling the employee that the replicas also have the cutout and telling him the differences, such as design differences on the back side of the wheel as well as the lack of a [redacted] part number, he still insisted that they were original. I asked to return the wheels and to have the restocking fee waived because they were not original as advertised. Upon returning the wheels and calling the company to confirm that they had received the wheels back, I was told that I would still be charged a restocking fee and admittedly 1 out of 5 wheels were indeed a replica. (Although they are all replicas.) I asked why I would be charged a restocking fee and was told it was because the item they sent me was correct. I argued that there was no part number listed and told them that I looked on every wheel for a part number. The employee told me the wheels he got back from me had part numbers on them. I have pictures of each and every wheel that disproves his statement. I do not appreciate the dishonestly and poor business practices of this company. Please be warned!Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded the full amount of the transaction including the restocking fee. I do not feel that I should be charged for a error that the company/employee made in false advertising.

Once I had a chance to research the issue and speak to Mr. [redacted] again I found that we did unfortunately make a mistake on the wheels. Mr. [redacted] was refunded $950.00 by me today at 12:02 PDT. Feel free to contact me if you need any additional info.
