Our team has worked very hard to ensure that everyone was notified and aware of the venue change in a timely and efficient manner (weeks in advance of the event)We sent out multiple communication pieces via email to all of our customers notifying them of the change, as well as posting on social media avenues and updating the information on the website.The first email to ALL of our participants went out on June 6th, 2017Posted to our social media channels on June 6th, 2017Updated our website on June 6th, 2017Sent additional emails stating the change on June 16th, and June 19th, 2017Sent an email on June 19th, offering a bus shuttle option for participantsEvery possible action has been taken to make customers aware and provide them with options we are able to offer within company policyEvery event company is different, and our policy states that no refunds will be given in the event of any reschedule - a policy that every customer has to click and agree to before they can purchase a ticket.We truly apologize for any inconvenienceWe have put our best effort in offering alternative options to our affected participants within the confines of our company policies and procedures
Hi [redacted] !Unfortunately, we are unable to process refunds as agreed upon during registrationThe planning and logistics required for putting on the event make it impossibleEveryone who purchases a ticket to an event agrees to our No Refund Policy attached to this email.We have been to Chicago for the past years at Montrose Beach, and no one is more impacted by this than usWe understand that this is a hard change for some, but due to logistic and safety concerns we had to change the venueWe found the best location we could to handle the race within a short period of time so that it wouldn`t be cancelledWe let all of our participants know about the change as quickly as we couldWe have also offered all participants multiple options regarding their tickets, in the event that they could no longer attendYou are welcome to hang onto your registration and apply it to either next year`s event, or to another of our race locations! You may also have your ticket transferred to a friend or family member if you can find someone to take your placeWe can mail you your race packet if you choose to not attend any race with us in the futureWe have also found a shuttle company willing to take people to and from the event.If you would like to proceed with any of the above options, please feel free to contact us
