Review: I visisted this salon on 02/18/14 to get my upper lip waxed. I waited for someone to assist me with this service. When one of the ladies got done with a hair cut she took me to the back. I laied down on the table and then she started to brush my eye brows. I then told her that I was only getting my lip waxed. The employee then said okay. Well then she put hot wax on my right eye brow. I then said I am only hear to get my lip waxed nit my eye brows. She still continued to do my eye brows. She then did my lip. She took me out to the registed and requested that I pay $14.00 for the lip and brow wax. I said I am being charged for a service that I did not ask for? She said yes, I replied that, that was not fair. Well today ater thinking about it over night, I called and spoke to the manager and she said she remembered me and remembered me only asking for my lip waxed. That after I left yesterday she asked the employee why she waxed my eye brows, and she said she thought I wanted both done and that I did not say anything until I went to pay for it. The manager did not do anything about my complaint. Just told me to do what I have to do and that the lady that did my wax does not understand english. I then told the manager that then, maybe she should have someone else do the waxes, because communication during a wax is important.Desired Settlement: I am asking that the money for I HAD to pay for the eye brows be refunded.

Date: March 6, 2014 Revdex.com To: Whom it may concern, This letter is in response to the complaint of wax services rendered 2/18/2014. I remember this customer; she came in to have a lip wax done. We were very busy when she arrived and all employees were with customers at that time. I advised the customer that we would be with her shortly and asked her to wait for service. The customer waited, once an employee was available to provide service, the employee escorted the customer to the area where we provide the waxing procedure. Part of our process when we are providing services, is to review the steps before we start, so the customer is comfortable and aware of what we are doing. We followed our normal protocol of reviewing before taking action and initiating service with this customer as well. When providing service to this customer, the employee reviewed not only the lip wax; she also reviewed the process of eye brow wax as well. During the eye brow wax process the customer did not advise in any way to the employee that she did not want the service. She allowed the employee to provide the eyebrow wax service. After we finished providing the service the customer t[redacted] advised that she did not want an eyebrow wax. We have satisfied customers that have been coming to our shop for many years and have not experienced this type of situation. Our goal is to provide excellent customer service to all customers, which is why we follow a standard process of clarifying what the customer wants done before we start our process. As I had previously stated in my first response, services that were requested were rendered to client [redacted]. Although English is not our first language, we are able to understand and communicate effectively to all of our customers. We worked very hard for many years to build up a reputation for our shop and satisfy returning customers for many years. We dwell in a very friendly and customer orientated environment with no previous issues and or complainants. Although I am not in agreement with Ms. [redacted]’s complaint, I am willing to be above such an issue and refund her $9.00 for her eyebrow waxing. Again, I am not acknowledging that we were in the wrong by any matter for the complaint against our shop that has been made, but only want to resolve the issue and have it be closed so we can move on. Please advise where of how the $9.00 can be refunded so it can be done so immediately and this issue and can be considered resolved.
