Had Vons Electric install a [redacted] backup generator at my house in Palatine in the fall of 2014. From the start, all representatives of this company that I had contact with were extremely customer service oriented. I had lots of questions and they were always willing to listen and assist however possible. I did have an issue with the wireless [redacted] notification system when first installed. This is a new product sold by [redacted] that the homeowner can monitor the generator with a cell phone or tablet and also informs the homeowner via email if the generator activates. Even though Vons Electric in St Charles is not exactly close to Palatine, their IT representative still made several visits to my home to troubleshoot the problem until resolved. I highly recommend this company for when purchasing a backup generator. Price may appear high, but it is worth it for the product and service.
