Review: Voxy English offered a trial course for 7 days back in September 2014. As a teacher, I was curious how they format course online so I registered for the trial period. It asked me for my credit card information and I did not provide it. I logged in once and that was it. Fast forward to January 2015, I checked one of my inactive credit card which I leave some amount of money there and I found out voxy has charged me for the past 5 months, so I contacted their customer service and asked them for refund since I've never login my account to learn anything at all. they got back to me and said they checked my account and said they did not charge me anything since I did not provide my credit card information. So, I attached the bank statement with the indicated charge. They wrote me an email back and said they could give me a 1 month refund and a free 3 months courses which I obviously don't need and said they didn't know what happened to my credit card and advise me to ask my bank. Then, I login to voxy and to my surprise, my account is still available with a 1 year subscription without my knowledge, despite they told me that they have terminated it. So I thought I could cancel my account myself but there is no function on the website that allow me to do that which means they probably will charge me again if I don't cancel my bank account. This is absolutely horrible practice, especially to students from other countries. Their charge was not cheap at all. I was clearly ripped off by almost 300$ for nothing. I hope we can do something to stop this kind of business practiceDesired Settlement: 299.99$. The amount that they charged me

If learners do not cancel their course during their 7-day free trial, they are then charged for their first payment when their trial is over. We also offer a 30-day, money-back guarantee. Learners can cancel their account by emailing us within the first 30 days and receive a full refund. If learners do not contact us, their payments recur automatically. This particular learner created two accounts. One account was created with a [redacted] email address and a trial course associated with this account was activated when payment information was entered. The other account was created with a [redacted] email address but was never activated because payment information wasn’t provided. When this learner initially contacted us, she provided her [redacted] account, which was not active and which had not been charged. Upon receiving additional information from this learner, both accounts were located and all payments associated with the active account were cancelled. When this learner contacted us, the account was already 5 months old, exceeding our 30-day money-back guarantee period. We issued a refund for the most recent month and cancelled all future payments. In addition, we offered this learner an extension of her course free of charge for an additional three months. As of 2/*/2015 we issued a full refund in the amount of $299.99 USD.
