Beware of the constant cheerful phone conversations you have with the VOYA representative when you call with questionsI was constantly lied to and miss directedDo not know if they try to buy time with your account or just do not truly care but it was VERY frustratingTaking my funds back to Fidelity

My pension payments were from [redacted] until 12-6-when they were transferred to Voya Retirement & AnnuityThe 1st payment was due to be deposited to my account on 12-28-No such deposit was ever made! I have spent over hrs on the phone with their customer service reps only to be disconnected or put on holdFinally got through on 1-3-and was told they were "having some problems " and it should be in my account by the end of the weekThat was last week - still no deposit today 1-9-Got through to customer service again this morning & they are still "having some problems " & now are "hoping" to release the payments by 1-17-and they are "sorry for the inconvenience "

My retirement account ended up in a Voya held account due to financial institution changes over the yearsIn making an effort to ROLL-OVER my account to another outside firm it has taken VOYA an extremely long time to execute itMy money is in a money market presently and less then 20kAll of the required paper work is in their hands and has been for 1/weeksThis is the longest ROLL-OVER processing I have ever experiencedhave executed over rollovers over the years(^; Getting in is easy......out.....not so quick!

Do not know if they try to buy time with your account or just do not truly care but it was VERY frustrating. Taking my funds back to Fidelity.

As POA for a $450k Voya annuity, I have asked Voya for a complete review and audit of the Contract. After 3 contacts with the Company I have received no information. Voya is entrusted to invest your money so why would they not be transparent about the performance of the investments. The "underlying funds" are nothing but Smoke and Mirrors with no way to independently track the mutual funds progress. Voya allowed a 42% LOSS [$188,000 ] of the Premium and failed to supervise the investments.
As the Stock Market has recovered the funds have never regained any of the LOSS. All efforts to verify if fees, costs, dividends or capital gains have been properly accounted for have been rejected. There is no Accountability.
The "spread" between Market and Statement reports is now better than a $168,000 LOSS.
