ON 1/25/MY SHOP COMPLETED WORK 0N A SATURN ION PLATE # [redacted] MY SHOP INSTALLED NEW COMPLETE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY, NEW SLAVE CYLINDER,NEW CLUTCH PEDAL,NEW FRONT ROTOTRSAS STATED ON WORK ORDER ALL PARTS WERE BRAND NEW.ON WORK ORDER SIGNED BY CUSTOMER THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY GIVEN ON PARTS NOR LABOR ON ANY WORK DONE.CUSTOMER RECEIVED A VERY REASONABLE DISCOUNTED PRICE BECAUSE SHE IS MY MOTHER IN LAWON 10/11/MONTHS LATER CUSTOMER DROVE HER VEHICLE INTO MY SHOP STATING THE CAR WOULDNT SHIFT TO ANY OTHER GEARS THAN 1ST GEARUPON ME CHECKING OUT HER VEHICLE I COULD SMELL A STRONG BURNT ODOR THAT RESEMBLES A BURNT CLUTHAFTER DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEM I DETERMINED THAT A NEW COMPLETE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY IS NEEDED.AT THIS POINT THE CLUTCH IS IN-OPERATIVE AND IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLYCUSTOMER LEFT HER VEHICLE AT MY SHOP ON 10/11/NOTHING WAS STATED ABOUT ANY REPAIRS TO BE DONE ON THIS DAY 10/11/ON 10/14/I DROVE THE VEHICLE TO THE CUSTOMERS RESIDENCE AND LET HER KNOW THAT I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO FIX HER VEHICLE DUE TO NO WARRANTY AND NO TIME DUE TO WORK OVERLOAD I ALREADY HADSHE STATED SHE DIDNT HAVE ANY MONEY AT ALL TO PAY SOMEONE ELSE TO FIX HER VEHICLE DUE TO HER NOT WORKINGI REFERED HER TO ANOTHER SHOP IN THE AREA AND LEFT HER RESIDENCE

I stand exactly in the same position as I stated on my previous responseI have NEVER offered any warranty on this jobbut I have offered help from the begining as she stated herself on her responseI offered to replace the complete clutch (part only)with a swap as a good customer relationship and suggested to her over the phone to whom to take it to for a good labor ratethe same day I walked her ex husband to that suggested shop.I have tried to help as much as possible on this matter so that she wouldnt end up paying too much for the repair,she was quoted $for labor she was saving $on the complete clutch since I was going to swap a new onein both responses from her she states the same thing, I helped her a few times on getting her car back on the road as she stated on 3/I left my shop to come to her while she was stranded on the side of the road and helped her fix it at no charge.I dont comprehend the reason as why it was my fault the clutch went outas she states on her response she states that the other shop said that the clutch went out due to a bad fly wheelas you can see no where on the work order from other shop states such a statement that the fly wheel was the cause of the problemand if it was why didnt the other shop replace it when they replaced the new clutch as wellthis confirms that more likely it was not what she is statingso again I go back to the same thing, I did my best on resolving this matter as best as I could by offering her help from the beginingshe could have had her car fixed at the recommended shop for the amount of $rather then $it is not fair that for trying to help to do the right thing even though there was no warranty stated on my work order( [redacted] has nothing to do with my offers on warranty to consumers) that I am expoected to reemburse a amount that customer decided to pay a higher amount then previously quotedI am declining to be responsibe on any cash refunds as I didnt have any wrong doings to this matter

I am rejecting this response because:He is not telling the truth the day I drop the car off he said to me Clutch is under warranty.he brought the car back to me Monday morning saying he didn't have time to fix it and no where to park it at his shop I called and called he said he was busy tjen he stopped taking my calls and said he is refusing to fix it And to be clear he is not my son in law he has a wife and its not my daughter.I also want a copy of the receipt from whom he bought the clutch from.he is a liar.he is not being honest

The Clutch was first repaired on 1-25-complete new clutch replaced, sleeve cylinder, Clutch pedalI was still having issues with it not shifting into gears, and then it started leaking so he fixed the o ringThen on October 11, I took it back to VP shop I could not get it to shift into GearsHe brought my car back to my house early Monday saying it's under warranty be has to busy for it now and he had no room to parked it there and he leftAfter that every few days I would call him he would say still too busyI had my son drive me over there and he said he was still too busyThen he stopped taking my callsAnd I called him more than times he stopped taking my calls I texted him his replay was my screen was broke please callI did call he would no answer.I had my car towed to a different shop***They replaced the clutch and master cylinderI spoke with the owner and his Opinion was the flywheel was not prep before the clutch was put in.VP replay to the complaint I filed stated that there was not any warranty on the clutch or laborAfter he said there was a warrantyHe had his account at *** *** ***They told me there is a warranty with a new ClutchVP is not speaking the truth I want a copy of a receipt for the new clutch to boughtAlso He did not speak to me about a different shop fixing he told that to my EX HusbandAnd I had Money to Pay for the Labor.I would like to be refunded the new Clutch and labor costs because he refused to fix my car and there was a warranty on the parts.*** ***

My daughter and I were traveling through Sacramento on our way to Southern Ca when our Mercedes died just north of the city. After being towed to VP Auto, we were treated very professionally and courteously an. VP auto drove us to a local mall while the work was being done. We were extremely impressed with the service, the efficiency, the cost of the service done and the timeliness. We were picked back up from the mall and were back on the road at closing time just as promised.

Review: Vp repaired my clutch on 01/25/14. With a New clutch and pedal,sleeve cylinder. On 10/11/14 the clutch stopped working. I dropped the car off at his shop that day.on 10/14/14 he returned my car to my home said he was to busy to fix it but it is still covered under the warranty. I have called left voice messages. Texted no reply from him went to his shop showed him the receipt he said he was busy .ad of 10/29/14 he is refusing to fix my clutch and does not return my phone calls or messages. I have no way to work and just want my car repairedDesired Settlement: I would like to have my Clutch repaired.Or replaced since it is still under warranty.
