We called this company to come out and repair our oven. They charged us $95.00 to do so, which we paid by check. We did get a receipt. He came out took the serial number/model number off the appliance but never looked any further, just asked me what was wrong with it. He came back a few days later and said that it was going to be not $150 as he first said, but that it would be $250.00. He said he ordered parts. We did not let him do any of the repairs. ( We put a stop payment on the check.) I did call the company and let them know that he did not look at the appliance complete and requested a refund of the $95, and they were not agreeable to a refund.
we came out to the residence house to look at the stove, looked at the appliance and told them we believed this control board would fix said issue. The service call for showing up is 95. The price of the board that we thought would fix it was 150. When we returned and installed said board problem was not fixed, the stove had another control board. The second board was 250 we did not collect 150 for the board that did not work. The customer demanded that we order the other board that was 250 but only charged him 150 because he didn't want to pay for the higher board. He canceled his check which bounced and I got charged adl 50 for the returned check.
VP Appliance Repair was contracted through LG for warranty repair of our TV. *** came to the house to inspect the TV and determine the issue to have it resolved. After he spoke with LG, he stated that it was agreed to have a screen replacement done to see if that would fix our issue. He had stated that it can take up to 3-4 months to get the parts in to do the repair. Assuming that our TV was going to be repaired in a few months, we waited. Two months later, we made contact with *** and asked about our screen replacement. He said that the screen had been ordered but there isn't any information provided for tracking the status of the order and again stated that it can take up to 4 months. After not hearing from anyone for 4 months, we contacted LG about the repair and informed them that no repair had been made by VP Appliance Repair. The LG agent reached out to contact VP Appliance Repair in regards to the matter and there was no response on their end. The agent from LG stated that the repairs shouldn't take any longer than 1 month. So they have bailed on a warranty repair customer and on LG themselves. I would NOT recommend their services to anyone.
