Review: I GAVE MY SON $500.00 FOR A DEPOSIT ON A PURCHASE OF A CAR MOTOR (B20V) MY SON GAVE [redacted] THE MANAAGER AT V RACE WORKS $500.00 CASH MY SON THEN CHANGED HIS MIND BECAUSE HE COULDNT COME UP WITH THE ADDITIONAL $2000.00 FOR THE MOTOR, MY SON CALLED [redacted] AND WAS TOLD THERE IS NO CASH REFUND THE RECEIPT MY SON WAS GIVE DOESNT HAVE THE COMPANY NAME IS JUST A REGULAR RECIPT THE RECEIPT DOESNT SAY NO CASH BACK , MY SON WAS TOLD THAT HE WILL RECEIVE A CREDIT, HE WAS TOLD THE CREDIT IS A LABOR ONLY CREDIT WHICH IS ALSO NOT ON THE RECEIPT, I CALLED HIM ON 10/**,10/**,10/** AND SPOKE TO [redacted], I ADVISE HIM HIS RECEIPT DOES NOT STATE ANY OF THE ABOVE REGARDING REFUND, I ASKED HIM IF MY SON CAN USE THAT CREDIT TO PURCHASE SHOCKS THEN FOR HIS CAR AT V RACE WORKS AT [redacted] LOCATION, HE SAID HE WOULD HAVE TO CALL AND SPEAK TO HIS PARTNER [redacted] AT ###-###-#### AND THAT HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME, WHICH HE NEVER DID. I CALLED HIM BACK AND HE SAID IT CANNOT BE DONE BECAUSE THE CREDIT HE IS WILING TO GIVE ME IS A LABOR ONLY CREDIT, I SAID SO CAN IT BE USED TOWARD THE LABOR OF MY SONSFFRIENDS CAR WHICH IS THERE HE SAID NO ITS NOT A TRANSFERABLE CREDIT, WHICH MAKES NO SENSE SINCE HE WAS PAID CASH, AND NOTHIBG WAS PURCHASED, I SAID OKEY SO THEN **Desired Settlement: $500.00 CASH BACK OR THE PURCHASE OF SHOCK AT THE [redacted] LOCATION WHICHIS WERE THEY SELL PARTS

Review: I had my car fixed at Vraceworks shop in the Bronx. The most unpleasant time I have had when it comes to automobile repairs. It is such a long story I can only get into the details. It started with me dropping off the car, getting an estimate, and getting eta on the completion of the car. The mechanic told me 2 weeks, it ended up being roughly 1 month and half. When I finally got the car back, it had a smashed windshield and dented hood. He replaced the windshield right away but told me to come back for a hood. I have yet to get the hood. There was also parts missing from my car that was paid for. He is now avoiding my phone calls and his shop has been closed for more then a week. I have given him many opportunities over to correct his mistakes he has not. I contacted the shop owner who told me pretty much that its not his fault I need to contact the mechanic. It is a very unprofessional shop. After my experience I also heard of other experiences that were negative. I will never do business there again. In the end the work done was faulty and now my engine needs to be rebuilt as a result of his negligence. I also had to put more money into the car after supposed completion of the car, something I shouldn't have had to do. I paid more fhen enough for work that was not completed and not to the agreements of my contract.Desired Settlement: I would Like a refund of the work done that was done wrong, the money for the extra things I had to fix and the money for the hood and the money for the parts I have not received.
