I believed that Vreeland Roofing Inc was a reputable company. Quick to as my problem and write up a proposal. Having read over their proposal I called to tell them I accepted it. They have no office, they return calls at their convenience, I left a voice message telling them I accept the proposal. I also mentioned that I was disabled so it took me some time to drive up to my new home to get the proposal that was left in the door.I never heard back from them again after that message. I recently spoke with a home inspector relating this story. He said I did myself a favor by not pursuing them. A reputable co. does not operate in this manner. Based upon what he could see, he was not positive that I was in need of a new roof at this time as I was told. Granted he did not go up on the roof, he did look from the ground. He did see from in my home that my leaks were located ONLY by the skylights. I was told a good calking job would probably solve my leak problem. No $5000 roof needed.
