I am rejecting this response because: I went to LUfor a simple oil change on September 18, and they advised me to do the power steering flushI went to their shop without any power steering problem in my car and I left with a leak in the rack and PinionThey put the leak in my rack and pinion and kept my car for over weeks in their shopI rented a car because I was unable to drive my own car after they messed up and they kept in their shop for over weeks when they knew that the customer had a rentalI had to pay the car rental over $because they put a leak in the rack and pinion and they kept my car for over weeksI would not have to get a rental and paid over $if they did not messed my car and kept it in their shop for over weeksIt should not take them over weeks to get a partThey did not put any effort to find the partAll other mechanics I used can find the parts for my car in to daysWhy did it take them over weeks? They are careless don't care about inconvenience a customerWhy did I have to go to all of they these when all I wanted was a simple oil change?They really inconvenienced me and I want them to take responsibility for their own mistakesWhy should I pay for their mistakes???

The complainant was told at the time of the car rental that Lube It would not pay for a rental car. Service was preformed free of charge as a courtesy to this individual, although the rack and pinion had nothing to do with the original service preformed. We still retain the old parts. We have nothing to add to this response

charge.. Because of the age and make of the car, which is no longer in production, we had to order the parts which took two weeks to receive.  We did not authorize or agree to pay for any rental car, therefor we will not pay for any rental expenses.
