The chair was custom ordered. As such, the order was and is notcancel-able nor is the chair returnable to W. F. Booth & Son, or to[redacted].The [redacted] factory representative has also reviewed thecomplaint and the situation and agrees with W. F. Booth & Son, Inc.’sinvestigation and position. W.F. Review: My Mother is 92 years old.

Over the past 10-20 years we have purchased 2 [redacted] Recliner chairs and have been extremely pleased with the quality, ease and comfort of these chairs. As my mother has progressively gotten weaker, the family decided it was necessary to purchase a lift chair. Because of our past experience with [redacted] we researched on line to find the best fit for her. It was decided that the [redacted] at the price of $1,799 would be the best choice. She choose a fabric that suited her decor and we contacted the local Lay-Z-Boy store, W.F. Booth and Sons in Kilmarnock, Virginia, to place the order. The chair was ordered June 5, 2014 and was delivered July 30, 2014.

This chair is extremely uncomfortable as there is no padding, it does not lift her feet high enough to prevent discomfort and loss of feeling in her feet and legs. and the fabric has become worn within the four months that she used it, pilling and bringing to the surface small white pill like pieces of something.

Needless to say she cannot use this chair and we have been extremely displeased with the quality and mechanics of the chair. As of December she refuses to use this chair because she is very, very uncomfortable her feet hang down when the chair is extended. It looks like a used, second hand chair, as if it had been previously used...see enclosed pictures.

The owner of W.F. Booth and Sons, Inc. came to the house in Sept, but offered no solution to her expressed problems with the chair. While he was there, he moved a white tag from under the chair and took it with him.

In looking this week at the blogs about your furniture, I terribly regret the purchase of said chair and wish that I had read them earlier.
