Information on issues above is incorrectoriginal contract was signed and a new addendum to the contract was signed 01-13-due to owner not paying when request were made.Rework and price increases had to be completed which owner is obligated to payThe additional cost , which owner said
to use money already paid for other materials. Since I requested the additional cost to perform the next task, and payments by owner were not delivered with the time frame, I have executed my right to no longer be associated with this job

Customer did not pay so I executed my release from the contract.(please see attached document)

I am rejecting this response because: contractor invoiced me for payment of a few thousand dollars while there was over ten thousand dollars of paid for and uncompleted work left to be done in addition to a five thousand dollar late fee which was owed to me. I informed the contractor that I would not pay his invoice until the work I paid for was completed.

I am rejecting this response because:Contractor's claim is demonstrably false. I paid $14,466 on 05/26/2017 based on a draw request and most of the work paid for in that draw has not been completed. These items are detailed below. Since the contractor has terminated his participation in the project, he owes me a refund of $10,733.33 in addition to the $5,100 late fee mentioned previously.  Framing Materials - 1/3 *Deck $2,416.67 Framing Labor - 1/3 *Deck $2,166.67 Insulation - 1/3 *Not Completed $500.00 Sheetrock Materials & Labor $3,000.00 Cabinet $1,250.00 Interior Doors $500.00 HVAC - 1/2 *Compressor Unit $900.00 Total $10,733.33
