I am rejecting this response because:
The tittle was promised with in a week then at the end of the month with a written letter sign by owner promising to return money if tittle was not ready by the end of month and now 1/months later still no title and and every time I call they are so rude and basically said you get it when it gets hereWhat im saying is even after they sign saying they would return money after days I given extra moths but nothing been resolved

Dear Ms. [redacted],
It is true that Buddy’s Flooring America had challenges with this project. The challenges were more than simple installation errors, seams kept opening for no reason, trim pieces kept popping off the floor without any cause. Buddy’s Flooring America kept sending out...

technicians to fix these problems. Buddy’s even replaced the carpet once. The issues kept happening I decided to view the project in person. I went with our Quality Control person from Dayton to fix another seam that came open and to re-attach a piece of ¼ round that unexplainably just ‘popped-off’ the wall, even though it was hot-glued in place.
Quality control and I went into the [redacted]’s house to view the problem. I observed a 6 inch area of the seam that looked like it lost some fiber, unknown reason. I also noticed a piece of ¼ round that had been pulled off the wall. I authorized QC to fix both areas.
I spoke with all installers that were at this job. I was told by one of them that Ms. [redacted] said “if you complain long & loud enough, you get what you want for free”.
I started a conversation with the [redacted]’s and told them what I heard about what Ms. [redacted] said to my installer, “if you complain long & loud enough, you get what you want for free”. I advised them that this tactic was not going to work with me. Ms [redacted] told me that she didn’t mean it for Buddy’s that she was just telling a story about how she received a “free upgrade for her Washer or Dryer” from LOWES. I reiterated this is not how we do business. I thought we had a decent conversation while QC was fixing her issues.
QC finished, we all looked at the work & it all looked good. I took pictures and thanked the [redacted]’s for letting us fix it and thanked them for there business (7100.00 - not 10,000.00) & we departed.
A few days later I received a call that the seam looks terrible, I advised our claims manager to set up yet another trip to the [redacted]’s home. Mr. [redacted] wanted compensation for all the aggravation, still trying to be diplomatic I stated I understood his concern and after they let us fix the carpet, we would talk about it in detail. Mr. [redacted] stated he needed to talk it over with his wife.
Mr. [redacted] called me stating he talked to his wife and that they want to be able to pick out “a new carpet, of their choice,” to replace the carpet because they feel it is defective. They also want “free” laminate in the hallway and kitchen and they are not letting QC fix the area until I agree to all of these demands.
I advised him it is not defective and that he needs to let us fix the seam. I told Mr. [redacted] we may be able to work something out with the hallway and gave no specifics. While talking about it, in the background, I heard Ms. [redacted] screaming that she wants new carpet for free, new free laminate in her Hallway and Kitchen.
I told Mr. [redacted] any offer was off the table and that he would be receiving a certified letter explaining our position. I thanked him for his time and hung up.
A few days later (after we sent the certified letter) Mr. [redacted] called me and asked me to fix the seam. I told him our claims manager would call him to set the appointment. He asked if I was going to do anything for them. I explained to Mr. [redacted] that I will do something for them after we fix the seam and they sign off on it. QC was sent, without confrontation he fixed the seam. Mr. [redacted] called me and asked what I was going to do for them- I responded that I would send them 300.00. Mr. [redacted] asked me “are you going to do our laminate in the hallway”. I said no thank you. I’m sure another retailer would be happy to do that for them. I then received this Revdex.com inquiry, I stopped the $300.00 check.
I am again offering the same $300.00 as settlement. This offer will expire on 3-18-2016.
