Purchased a home with an existing lifetime warranty through WFR. Bought house in 2015 and had to have adjustments done same year, slow on scheduling and responding but work was eventually completed. January 2018 had to have more adjustments done to previous work. In March 2018 we saw signs of movement so have been trying to contact ever since. The office assistant takes name and says will relay to owner ***, but servie dies there. He will not return calls or emails for up to 3 months and then will schedule him to come out 2-3 months out then once work is established is another 3-4 months. I have had 4 different foundation companies over in the past month and all hae concluded that improper work by WFR has caused additional breaks/issues with the foundation. WFR now recognizes my phone number from calling and will not even pick up the phone to discuss. Looking at additional $15.000 worht of foundation work because initial work was done improperly causing current discovered problem.

Waco Foundation Repair has stood by ALL worked performed on the house on the 2 different occasions that we have worked on. First being the add on that the previous owner has us do on the addition at the back in August of 2009. This work consisted of 10 pressed piers at a cost of $3000.00. This work was complete on August 14th 2009 and signed off by ***.on 7 /20/2010 Ms *** called WFR for a service call that she thought something needed to be looked at so WFR went back out to the home for an inspection and at that time determined we need to make a few adjustments to those piers that we installed and highly recommended to Ms *** that she get some dirt built up around this addition and gutters to help with water run off so that it is not standing around the foundation because it can and will cause problems and could possibly cause the warranty to be voided under the foundation maintenance program that we supplied to her. To my knowledge this was never done. 8/27/2012 Ms *** calls again for the same reason we again questioned her if the recommendations were ever done and she said that she would like to just re-schedule that appointment. From that point no one has called or mentioned anything on this home until the *** were looking to buy or have bought the home in 2015. At that time contacted WFR and inquired about the lifetime warranty on the work that had been done and we stated that it was voided because it was never transferred with the correct paperwork so at this point the work from 2009 was not covered under any type of warranty. This brings us to May 2015 and have copies of several emails with Ms *** in regards to warranty and what would need to be done in order to have the previous warranty reinstated and they at the time wanted us to look at another problem that they noticed at the home. 5/19/2015 an estimate was written to install 4 additional piers to the left side of the home at a cost of $1200.00 and do a warranty inspection for the previous worked performed on the home in 2009 and in that inspection notes again were made in regards to the trapping of water around the foundation and also needing dirt to create positive slope away from the foundation and would need to adjust 6 of the previously installed piers from 2009 # 4-9. 12/8 2015 *** and *** hire Waco Foundation Repair to do the 4 NEW piers to the front of the home and pay to have the warranty reinstated and make the necessary adjustments to the work performed in 2009. The new work and the previous work adjustments were done and signed off on by *** and *** and payment was made to us. Bringing us current to the last visit I made early this year to find that so minor movement was discovered and sent crew out to make necessary adjustments to home so to say WFR is not standing behind the work performed is not correct and I do have any and all supporting documents and emails for all appointments made on this home and fro 4 other companies to say it needs 15k worth of work it may because they are trying to SALE you work and cast blame on anyone that has touched the property before it is just a tatic used and have seen it many times. There may have been alot of changes to this home since we did this work it happens everyday to homes because we cannot control mother nature and or soil movement. As a homeowner when we make suggestions to customers in regards to their foundation and ways to help protect it it is completely up to them and if that gets ignored it can and will create future problems.Again as I have stated WFR stands behind any and all worked performed and will do ANY NECESSARY WARRANTY RELATED ISSUES with the worked that was performed in the 2 different occasions to this home that consist of a total of 14 piers that are in place.

Thank you

Waco Foundation Repair did the original foundation repair work in 2006 which included a lifetime warranty. In 2010 we had additional shifting and the company did come back and adjust piers and add additional piers so that now there are piers on all sides of the house. After that we had remodeling done to walls and floors which had been damaged.
In mid to late 2017 new cracks began to appear. Mr*** came to my house and inspected the new damage and scheduled work which was done on November 20, 2017. However, I was told that they only did the front at that time and would have to come back to adjust at the back of the house but that it would be after the holidays.
I began to call in Jan. 2018 and made several calls between then and March. There was always a delay in even setting up an appt. I sent Mr. Maddox an e-mail on March 2, expressing my concern and frustration at the poor response and also mentioning that the company really stresses the fact that the work has a lifetime warranty.
He replied to that saying "My apologies and yes I will get guys back over ASAP. We are of course running behind but I am full aware of needing to get back on your house. I will stay in touch as we get caught up. Thank you
*** President"

I have heard nothing from Mr. or his company since.

On Nov 2010, we contracted Waco Foundation Repair , Inc. to level our house and garage, and we received a Lifetime Warranty. On April 2013, they had to redo a portion of the work. On 2016, I requested an appt with ***, Pres., to look at cracks in ceilings and brickwork. After 4 broken appt. he came and agreeded we needed additional repairs. We have called sense Jan 2017, and he will not take our call or return our call.

Waco Foundation Repair Response

Im a little thrown off gaurd by this complaint after I pulled the file from the last visit we had on 10/14/16 over a year ago. The notes that I made on my file with visit was not to make any adjustments to the piers that were installed in 2010 but just water more around the foundation in which as part of the warranty is something that the customer should do on a regular basis. Now if something has made a change since then I will be more than happy to make any and all necessary adjustments required. If so please call the office to set this up and speak with ***. Thank you

Initial foundation repair work on my home was completed in 2006. I have a lifetime transferable warranty which was executed on 5/18/2006. Company was contacted early this year (spring 2017). Company representative came to the home and informed the wife repairs would be scheduled in March/Apr. However, no one called. I made multiple calls to the business this summer to inquire, but received no response till I later visited the business personally but president was not in. I then sent an e-mail inquiry. Company president said repairs would be scheduled for 9/22/17, but no one showed up. I phoned that day to question why no one showed up and was told someone would call as they "were on another job" It didn't happen, so I sent another email. Company president responded with an apology stating they were backlogged, but did not set an appointment date for repairs. I demanded they start the work this week or next. Still no response; no phone call or email. I feel the company does not plan to honor the lifetime warranty by being evasive and non-responsive in the hopes I will simply go away. This is not right as I even took the time to make advance preparations myself by moving gravel and landscaping away from the foundation to make it easy for them. We need to renovate a restroom
to make it handicap accessible and cannot do so until the foundation is repaired.

Waco Foundation Repair Response

This work will be complete by the demanded date that you requested.

I am extremely frustrated. I purchased this home in 2009 with a lifetime foundation on the warranty. I was given a copy of the $9,000 check written for the repairs and a brochure about the company who did the repairs. I contacted them in approximately 2015 regarding foundation issues. A representative came out and said they would honor warranty and complete repairs prior to July 4th weekend. They never came and I called multiple times and was advised that the company was changing owners and management etc. I now have my entire hallway buckling with ceramic tiles broken. It is dangerous for my two small children to walk down the hall, I have to carry them. I contacted the company again and they are now refusing to honor this warranty. I am at my wits end and just need my home to be habitable.

Waco Foundation Repair Response

As I sent in the email earlier the warranty was never transferred into your name. the is a form that has to be filled out in order for out "LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE WARRANTY" to be valid with the home and has to be done within 10 days of closing on the property when you purchased it. This home has changed owners now 3 times with you and has never transferred from anyone and we have no record of this happening. If I had the proper documents for the transfer I would be more than happy to do that for you. Otherwise a fee will need to be paid to reinstate that warranty. So its not that I wont stand behind the work or the warranty but there is procedure to follow in doing this and if the sellers would have done their part and disclosed all the correct paperwork to you other than a copy of a check this would not have been an issue.

Customer Response

To whom it may concern:

Mr. the president has been kind enough to work with me on this issue and let me pay a warranty transfer fee. I am very appreciative.

Thanks

Waco foundation will not correct foundation problems. I have told them twice I would be taking time off work to watch what they did to foundation. Two times they stood me up. When I called I get excuses after excuses why they didn't show. I have talked to owner and he said his crew would fix problem and his secretary would get back with me. Three plus months later they scheduled me for a 9 am appointment on 8 September and didn't show up. When I called I got more excuses. The got tied up on another job and would not be there until afternoon, but the day before they could do the work knowing I couldn't be there. I would appreciate help resolving this problem.

Waco Foundation Repair Response

9/11/17- Mr *** first of all Waco Foundation did not contract ANY work with you personally nor have you made any type of payments to Waco Foundation repair. This contract was originally done for Mr. *** and *** is the owner now and the limited warranty was transferred to her not you. Waco Foundation Repair fully intends on backing up any warranty issue that falls within guidelines of warranty but also does NOT have to take verbal threats and social media harassment from anyone just because we were not going to be able to make it out to a job site because we were held up on another and when you call and threaten and make demands to my secretary Waco Foundation Repair will not respond to this and will take full lagal action towards harassing phone calls and social media contact. So going forward I will only speak or communicate with *** in regards to any and all warranty related issues with this home and we be happy to re-schedule with her. So if she will contact our office we will gladly set her up on a day that works best for her. PLease do not contact this office again and I have instructed my staff to only deal with Ms *** in regards to this home.

Thank you

The foundation has shifted again and Waco Foundation Repair has not returned calls for almost a year. There is now major shifting and sheetrock damage. If Waco Foundation Repair would have honored their warranty a year ago additional damage could have been avoided. This house will be put on the market soon so our patience is wearing thin. My wife and I discussed the shifting and other issues with *** at the Waco home product's show and he was going to contact my wife which never happened.

Waco Foundation Repair Response

With all due respect you said you spoke to me at the Home Show in which was back in February so I obviously did forget due to the hundreds of people I talk with over that weekend. Generally I have people call me on Monday morning to set up appointments and had that been done I would have been out to look at what problems you are having. If you would like to call the office at *** I will be more than happy to set up an appointment. Thank you
