Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:There must be a communication problem between this lady and her technician A few facts to consider: We have been customers for more than years now, and have always paid invoices within days of receipt (evidence can be compiled) This season was different, because we did not receive what we were invoiced The leaking sprinkler head is in the FRONT of the house, not in the rear And the property is flat; there is no "steep grade" in the front or rear lawn, which is irrelevant There is no need for a physics lesson, as there is another sprinkler head 4-feet away that shows no sign of leakage. Most importantly, no tech was ever at our property to "check" the leak, and there is a simple reason why I can make an absolute statement as to her implicit dishonesty Leak checking a sprinkler system (or any hydraulic system for the matter) requires the system to be ON and PRESSURIZED Unfortunately, her story does not hold water (!) because the sprinkler controls are entirely contained INSIDE THE HOUSE!Add the vulgar rudeness on the phone and her refusal to let me speak to a manager or owner of the business, and I want this resolved and I will move onto another company Please remember that I FULLY INTEND to pay for this invoice, but only AFTER the work is done to a satisfactory standard Regards, [redacted] ***

The customer who has filed this complaint called us in June to repair some leaking headsWe did the repair then days later she called saying one of the heads was leakingThe tech went back out the next day and found the head in question is at the lowest point on the zoneThis causes water
to appear to be leaking as water seeks its own levelGravity takes overThe customers rear lawn has a steep gradeWe have explaned this to her via phone call and e-mailWe are hesitant to continue to service this customer as she is not understanding us when we explain why the water is poolingShe is an extremly slow pay, we did not receive payment for her spring turn on that was done on 6/16, we received payment on 8/24. Our terms are payable upon receiptRepairing the problem with the head will require additional time and materialsShe does not want to pay for this as she feels we caused a leak, her system was not leaking when the tech was the on 6/24. *** *** is holding up payment for something that is out of our control and was not caused by anything we have done. *** *** has called us times regarding this issue, once to request a service call which she got at no additional charge, the 2nd time she called we explained the problem to her, the third was to request specs on the heads we installed That was sent to her via *** At no time was *** *** hung up on when she called the officeWe have been polite and curteous to her everytime she has called. Harassment - there is no other way to say it. [redacted] came to my hosuse and was told by my wife that we "don't take solicitors." A few weeks later when I came home from a business trip his mini van was parked in my driveway, he had my newspaper and was walking up to my front door. He looked suspicious, I didnt know immediatley who he was and then my wife told me that was the guy she told to leave. I followed his van, took a picture of him turing around in the neighborhood. He left. Today, he came to my door again, handed me his material. I tried to hand it back to him and told him that he was unwanted. He would not take his material back. He was sarcastic and told me he didnt know he wasnt wanted and thought maybe we just "got off on the worng foot." Honestly I respect the tenacity but when his advances are unwanted then his persistence becomes harassment. This young man is not to set foot on my property again. I would like to file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com that Waddell & Reed might want to do a better job of helping their people know when their persistence is wrong.

I am rejecting this response because:There must be a communication problem between this lady and her technician.  A few facts to consider: We have been customers for more than 5 years now, and have always paid invoices within 7 days of receipt (evidence can be compiled).  This season was different, because we did not receive what we were invoiced.  The leaking sprinkler head is in the FRONT of the house, not in the rear.  And the property is flat; there is no "steep grade" in the front or rear lawn, which is irrelevant.  There is no need for a physics lesson, as there is another sprinkler head 4-5 feet away that shows no sign of leakage. Most importantly, no tech was ever at our property to "check" the leak, and there is a simple reason why I can make an absolute statement as to her implicit dishonesty.  Leak checking a sprinkler system (or any hydraulic system for the matter) requires the system to be ON and PRESSURIZED.  Unfortunately, her story does not hold water (!) because the sprinkler controls are entirely contained INSIDE THE HOUSE!Add the vulgar rudeness on the phone and her refusal to let me speak to a manager or owner of the business, and I want this resolved and I will move onto another company.  Please remember that I FULLY INTEND to pay for this invoice, but only AFTER the work is done to a satisfactory standard.
