Overextended Paint Contractor who did POOR quality work, REFUSES to finish a job already paid for and REFUSED to divulge his insurance company.
Mr. *** (the owner) immediately got my confidence to do a very large painting and construction job on my primary residence in Huntsville, AL as he was very personable and his price was modest. The contract began in the FALL of 2017. The job took forever and during the Christmas holidays, one of his workers left a huge drop cloth on my hardwood floors and once moved, there was a noticeable loss of finish. I complained to Mr. and wanted the name of his insurance company. He REFUSED to give me that information as he stated he had had his insurance cost increased in the past with prior problems. He had one of his workers try and fix the floor and it looked alright for a few weeks but the finish has come off and I am left with the original problem in my kitchen that needs professional finishing. He also had the same worker damage two tables and Mr. did have them repaired because he again REFUSED to divulge his insurance company. There was a ceiling in bathroom repaired but the roof problem was not completed because Mr. fired numerous workers during that time due to drug use. The sidewalk paint has lifted up and looks absolutely horrible considering I paid him over $10,000.00 for services. *** Paint store even said they would pay for the new paint BUT Mr. has been too busy to handle a Senior Citizen's complaint.

Mr. called Revdex.com to provide his position. He stated this job was completed 6 months ago and he thought everything was fine. He sent two tables to Final Finish at his expense to be repaired. He repaired the kitchen floor where a groove had formed by a computer chair. He repaired a few odd things that was not on the contract. He refunded money for the screen door project.
Mr. does not offer any refund or additional repairs.

Mr. is being untruthful On 3/19/18 we were in communication and that day the owner of PPG paints in Huntsville came over and looked at the mess at my front sidewalk. Also on 3/19/18 I texted Mr. bout the poor painting job upstairs. He said he would send his guy out the next day. The work upstairs was finally finished BUT the sidewalk/porch stair work is NOT finished. The PPG owner himself came over and said it needed an oil-based paint. Mr. crew had used a latex based paint. The owner of PPG even said he would pay for the paint when Mr. did the job. Again Mr. is overextended and he needs to BOTH Fix the front sidewalk/stairway with the CORRECT Paint and he needs to divulge the name of his insurance company. To not divulge this information when asked is both unethical and unprofessional.

1. All licensed contractors in Alabama are required to make available for inspection proof of INSURANCE to their customers at the onset of their contract and anytime when requested.
(The contractor has consistently REFUSED, citing that he has had numerous complaints in the past that have increased his insurance premium)
2. The contractor could have easily come to my home and personally inspected ALL DAMAGE.
(a. The contractor chose to have a worker unqualified to assess and repair the damage to my KITCHEN FLOOR. This resulted in the equivalent of slapping toothpaste into a plastered wall as a "quick cosmetic fix", which over a few short months resulted in the same defect showing up for everyone to see)
(b. The Front Porch and Front Sidewalk's paint is "cracking and lifting off". This was first noticed when my lawn crew had a weed whacker chip off huge chunks of paint. On closer inspection, ie. leaning down (I am handicapped), it was obvious that the integrity of the paint job was faulty. I contacted both the contractor AND the paint store owner in April 2018. The paint store owner said the Latex product used needed to be changed to Oil-based. I have patiently waited for the contractor to come back and fix the problem.)
3. I understand my rights as a customer in Alabama. As such, I have offered the ability to address and fix appropriately the problems caused by the contractor. I now am in a position to sue the contractor. I will be hiring people to fix the problems and then use the evidence when I go to court. Small Claims court has a maximum capped at $6k. At this point in time, I don't know if I will need to sue in a higher court.
4. I have numerous screenshots of the problems which I will provide to court.
5. I will be putting up a new Google review and other Review sites.
6. The contractor is foolish to have accused me of FRAUD as he never even came here and inspected the problem. (Had he come here personally, we would not be having this conversation)
7. I assume my next encounter with the contractor will be in court.
My Company is not at fault and I will not be defrauded by Mrs ***, I am not the first contractor that she has defrauded ... I have zero negligent insurance claims and Zero complaints other than Mrs
Mr. Wade and his team just completed a job for me in Madison. They had to repair a wall and complete painting my entrance foyer and multiple rooms in my house (bathroom, bedrooms, etc). They did all of the jobs in an excellent manner. The painters were professional and had excellent workmanship. Because of their work, we have already told many of our friends who are in need of paint jobs also. Additionally, their prices were great for the value they provided.

I had Mr Wade do some kitchen Sheetrock repairs for me and stain a lg patio area , he did an awesome job and was very reasonably priced! I definitely recommend him for any of your painting or repair needs.
