In 2010, my family purchased a new heating and air unit from Wade's. Six years later, the outside unit quit working. We contacted Wade's, discussed the fact that the compressor was still under warranty, and were given a quote of around $1,000 - $2,000 for repairs. We were also quoted $3,500 for a new outdoor unit, when the initial purchase of an entire system (not including new duct work) cost $4,000. When we had a repairman from another company come out and look at our unit, we discovered through a check of the serial number that our unit was actually a 2005 model that Wade's sold us as "new" without revealing the year model and could also be a "scratch and dent" unit that was assembled from two different units. Overall, I've found our experience with Wade's to be very disappointing and would never recommend them because of such poor business practices.
