Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2014/09/05) */ TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, THE TRUCK WAS DROPPED OFF TO REPAIR AN ENGINE NO START SITUATIONWE WERE VERY BUSY AT THE TIME IT WAS DROPPED OFFWE DID TALK TO HER A COUPLE TIMES AND I ALSO TALKED TO HIM,THEY HAD CALLED USWHEN SHE CALLED US SHE WAS TOLD THAT WE WERE DOING DIAGNOSTIC WORK ON ITWHEN I TALKED TO HIM I TOLD HIM WE WERE WORKING ON ITHE TOLD ME HE NEEDED IT ASAP AND TO GET IT FIXEDAFTER OVER HOURS OF DIAGNOSTIC WORK WE FOUND THE ICR WAS BADWE TRIED TO CALL BUT WERE UNABLE TO REACH ANYONE AT THE NUMBER THEY PROVIDED TO USAT THAT TIME I MADE THE CHOICE TO HAVE THE TECH GO AHEAD AND FIX THE TRUCKI DID THIS BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER WAS VERY CLEAR TO ME THAT HE WANTED THE TRUCK ASAPREPLACING THAT PART WAS THE NEXT STEP TO DIAGNOSING THE PROBLEMWHEN WE GOT IT IN WE FOUND THE OLD ONE BAD BUT STILL NO HIGH OIL PRESSUREIT APPEARED TO NEED A HIGH PRESSURE OIL PUMPWE WERE STILL UNABLE TO REACH THE CUSTOMERAT THAT POINT WE STOPPED AND THE CUSTOMER CAME IN AND WE EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO THEMTHEY TOLD US TO STOP ON IT THAT THEY DID NOT WANT TO REPAIR THE VEHICLE AT THAT TIMEWE TOLD THEM THERE WOULD BE A FEE FOR DIAGAND A FEE FOR THE LOW OIL PRESSURE TESTWE DID NOT CHARGE THEM FOR INSTALLING OR REMOVING THE NEW REGULATOR OR FOR THE PARTWE TOLD THEM THAT WE WOULD LEAVE THE OLD PART OUT BECAUSE THE NEXT SHOP WOULD HAVE TO PULL IT OUT ANYWAY TO DO THE REPAIRSIN ONE COMPLAINT THEY SAID WE DID NOT GIVE THEM THE PARTS BACK AND IN THE OTHER COMPLAINT THEY SAID WE PUT THE PARTS IN THE TRUCKTHE FACT IS WE PUT THE OLD PARTS IN THE TRUCK (NOT INSTALLED) AND TOLD THEM THAT WE WOULD BE DOING THAT SO THE NEXT SHOP WOULD NOT HAVE TO PULL THEM OFFWE ALSO TOLD THEM IT WOULD NEED MORE WORK AND GAVE THEM AN EST FOR THAT WORK I WILL SAY THERE IS A BIT OF A LANGUAGE BARRIER HERETHEY DON'T SPEAK THE BEST ENGLISH AS YOU CAN ALSO TELL BY THEIR COMPLAINT LETTERSWE ARE SORRY IF THERE WAS SOME TYPE OF MISUNDERSTANDING BUT I DO FEEL THAT WE DID WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS RIGHT AND DID NOT CHARGE THEM FOR THE WORK THAT THEY SAY THEY DIDN'T WANT

I do not feel comfortable and will not be bringing my car or the engine back to their shopI found a reputable engine shop that understands what components go together when building an engineSpecifically yet, a moderate performance based engine, that is more than just a stock rebuild, with a cam, such as what I received I specified which pistons I wanted from the start (Keith Black KB107) and I got stock replacement pistonsThe pistons I asked for would have bumped my static compression up to the 9.5:and my dynamic compression up to Which I needed for the cam shaft as well as the performance aspect I was looking for As for the valve springs, I called Comp Cams myself and talked to themThey told me the recommended valve springs for that cam do not fit the magnum headsIn fact they don't even make a valve spring that fits magnum headsWagamon Brothers said they installed Comp Cams 901-valve springsThis was a flat out lieThey installed stock magnum valve springs that are not rated for my particular cam Those are two major components as to why I cannot get my engine to run properlyI feel that [redacted] Brothers owes me for the correct parts, but they will not be touching my engine or my car to install themI'll have someone else to do thatI found the correct valve springs, keepers and locks as well as the correct pistons, piston rings and wrist pins that I needI'm asking for a check in the amount of $to be mailed to me so that I can purchase these parts on my ownI will pay for the labor to have someone else install these components for me and to also fix the oil leak that started again Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 18, 2015/07/13) */ Wagamon Brothers would be willing to supply the parts that Mr [redacted] has said he needs to do the repairsI would like him to supply the part numbers and of coarse return the old parts to usWe believe that is fair to both partiesI don't know of any company that would just send a check out without never having had the opportunity to look at the problemWe really do not even know if everything said is correctThere maybe other things contributing to his problemsI am certain that if he supplies us part numbers we can provide them to him very fastOf coarse after this we will not be responsible for any future problems he may haveWe think this is a very good solution that is very fair Thank You, Pat [redacted]
