The business just copied their prior responseThey did not offer any resolutionThey still refuse to take any responsibility for their part which was the fact that they did not check if I was covered for this procedure before telling me that it was in fact coveredThey did not offer to reverse the fees.
I stand by my statement that they were trying to scam me in charging this fee when they stated I was covered for thisThis is fraudulent

I never was there for an emergency visitI had to cancel due to sickness and it was not a flat cancel- it was a rescheduleI gave THEM the courtesy to not come in with a fever and get them sickI believed that was the proper thing to do. I was not told that I needed to bring any film or x-raysI had never been in that situation before and had never been told that was something I neededIf this was needed , why was it not asked of me? I gladly would have provided itThat would have been no problem but I was never asked for it or told that I needed itI was simply told "you are covered so why not" when having these full mouth x-rays were takenYour office told me SPECIFICALLY that I was coveredHow am I to know you were wrongThat is not fair. The office staff was incredibly rude and cut me off as I was trying to explain myself and ask questionsAfter being cut off and not allowed to respond to anything barked at me, in my frustration I did curseI did not deserve to be spoken to in such a mannerThere was no professionalism from the staff member of this businessI do believe I am being scammed as I have never been threatened by a business before and have never been promised a service is covered and then told I must pay the billIf I was told I would be billed and it would cost $then I would know in advanceHowever, I was told I was in fact covered for thisI was not given a choice and unfortunately cannot afford this bill that I was not expectingThe office did not try to come up with a plan for me or apologize for their error but instead was nasty and rude and tried to make me the patient feel like I was a bad person for not being able to pay itI've never dealt with such horrible staff at a doctor's office beforeTHAT is not FAIRIf this is not a scam, then why no apology for the fact that your staff sad I was covered and obviously they were wrong?

Pt [redacted] was seen at the office on 01/**/2016 as an emergency, [redacted] then had an appointment on 01/**/2016 that she canceled the same day with out the 24 hour notice that is required to avoid a fee, as a courtesy we waived the 25.00 fee for last minute cancel. [redacted]...

[redacted] then made an appointment on 01/**/2016 which was canceled on the same day again with out the 24 hour notice required, that makes two 1 hour appts that the patient canceled with out enough time to avoid a fee. The office did not charge her for either of these visits. When [redacted] came in for her new patient appt after we addressed her emergency, in order to do a full exam we needed to have a full set of xrays that [redacted] did not bring in from her previous office, as per her insurance Trojan viewer Panorex paid in addition to fmx, in order for office to give the patient a full exam the office took individual films AT NO COST to the patient. Upon received the explanation of benefits for the panorex the ins company did not cover the panorex that should have been covered because the patient had to many xrays at a different dental office to consider the payment for the panorex. We only sent [redacted] a bill for the panorex not the individual films, the patients husband call the office yelling and cursing that he will not pay for this, we need to stop billing them. [redacted] called the office in regards to the bill and she also said we will not be getting any money from her, I explained that if the insurance company does not pay for a service rendered that it becomes the patient responsibility as per the chart that she signed understanding these terms. [redacted] then said we can go Fk ourselves because she will not be paying anything to us. [redacted] allegations of the office trying to scam her are slander, after we addressed her emergency waived her cancelation fees and did individual xrays at no cost and calls and curses at the staff, [redacted] wa nts to allege that the office was scamming her. The office was only trying to be paid for a service renendered. [redacted] is responsible for this charge.
