We had some damage done to our house due to a fire dollars worth of damage was done in the master bedroom .Having any damage done to your house is an extremely stressful situation for anybody's family especially when you are trying to raise little children I called various contractors and nobody would return my callsThe day I called wagners they returned my call within minutes and they were at the house like the next day to look at the damage and assess what needed to be doneThey had no problems working with the insurance company which could be a deterrent for some contractorsNo Matter how big or small the job or Hoops that had to be jumped through they will turn nobody away .Plus they will communicate with you on a regular basis in regard to the job.I found them to be truthful and honestThere mission is to truly serve the customerPlus I was extremely Pleased with the job they didWhen finished it looked better than it did beforeBottom Line I found their honesty and integrity to be refreshingMy biggest regret is I did not call them the first timeI will use their business in the future

We were looking for a company and person to complete two jobs around our houseOne job was putting up lattice around a three-season porch and putting in a subfloor and vapor barrier in that same porchThe other job was to enclose a front porch (with walls, windows, and a doorNow we are very picky when it comes to hiring a contractorWe tend to have multiple contractors come through to give quotes on a jobAnd I can say without a shred of exaggeration or doubt that Wagner Builders is the absolute best company I have ever hired to do a job at any of the properties I have owned or lived at From the beginning [redacted] (the owner) was unbelieveably accomodatingHe was willing to come over pretty the same day that I called himWhen he came over he was attentive in listening to our needs and such a engaging personHe didn't talk over our heads or seemed rushedHe genuinely wanted to know what we wanted in our homeAs he listened he would give suggestions as to ways we might complete the project and offered ideas without pushing an idea on usOne thing that was very helpful is he explained not only what he would do, but why he was recommending thatFor example, many contractors had suggested ways to close off the bottom of my elevated porchHowever, the ideas were mainly to completely shut it off in some way [redacted] explained that he wouldn't recommend closing it off as it would block off a vent to the crawl space and that could cause major issues long term under the houseMoreover, he even called about a permit and the requirements for a build right on the spot to make sure we all understood what the possibilities were on our front porchNo one had done that beforeTo me it showed he really cared about his craftmanshipHe sent us a quote that night (which was much faster than some who came and never even sent us a quote)He wanted to know what our budget was so he could tailor a quote to maximize what we could get for our money and budget His quote was clear, itemized, and was well within our budgetHe called to discuss the terms and answered all of our questionsHonestly, this is a factor that I really want to highlightMr [redacted] is extremely available if there are questions or thoughtsHe answered our e-mails, returned calls, and even called us frequently throughout the process to give us updates, progress reports, to ask what we like, what we might not like, etcI talked to Mr [redacted] on the phone more than any contractor everAnd this is such a great little touch to the level of customer service they provide We asked to have some alterations made to the contract and he accomodated that request immediately and sent a new contract over via e-mail immediatelyHe then came the next day to have the contract signedAs soon as we had the contract signed he began working on ordering the materialsOne really thing we really liked was he didn't just go get the basic material you could find anywhereHe went around our house on the outside to look at what was already there and wanted to match the style of the project to match our already existing homeHe didn't ask for more money for thisHe didn't say it would be harderHe just did it because he felt that was what should be doneUnlike other contractors we have had who simply wanted to give us stock options he worked a customized 4xAnderson window into our project that would be matched to the windows we already hadWe were so impressed by his attention to detailAs we waited for the project to start, Mr [redacted] made several calls to us to check in with us to let us know what was going onAgain, I cannot say enough about how nice it was to have all the informationOnce the work began our satisfaction definitely didn't diminishThe team showed up promptly around a.meach day and worked quite fast and diligentlyThere was not a single time we had to ask where they might be, or when they were coming backHonestly, they were often there before we even went to workOur back porch was done in essentially one day and the work was extremely well doneThere was no mess and honestly they went way further than I thought when it came to items like the latticeThey dug down to make sure the lattice was deep enough to keep all critters outThey also installed extra posts to make sure the lattice was securedThey did this without raising the price or saying "surprise"They did this to make sure it was done rightThe front porch was no differentThey worked quickly and the quality was astonishingThe siding was perfectly matched to our outside sidingEvery step of the process he would call once or twice a day to update us and let us know what was going to be happening next or to ask what we might have questions onYou will not be disappointed with this companyTheir professionalism, quality of work, and attention to detail are unparralled

I have dealt with Wagner Builders several times for roofing and for concrete work They have more than competent trades people and are very conscientious when doing their tasks They have an excellent work ethic--so rare these days!

*** answered the phone the first time I called, then showed up within a half hour to give me an estimate We required major foundation repair with sections of block to be dug and rebuilt on our home
His workers showed up immediately at am the following morning and stayed long days, until all work was completed neatlyHe provided photos of completed work and a warranty that would transfer to new owners
He also satisfied a number of inspection items at no additional charge

The basement wall at my father's home was beginning to fall in. Wagner Builders was one of the calls we made. They explained exactly what they would and how. They gave us a very reasonable estimate and when they were finished were under the estimate. It even rain before the job was completed so we know it working as it should. The wall looks better than it did and after watching the progress each day I feel it is very secure. I would highly recommend [redacted] and his team.
