Nightmare experience - DO NOT HIRE - not trained, don't know how to paint, no professional supervision, no respect for your property, damaged furniture, roof & porches, sloppy - paint drips everywhere on everything Kids had a great time texting & talking on company time -very little painting A 3-day easy paint job took weeks still not done but we'll finish job ourselves

My mom had Student Painters paint her house trim and garageFor a job as big as my moms house it should have taken days to paint but they rushed and did it all in one dayThe next day with the sun shining it looked terribleYou could see the old color through the paintThey also used flat paint instead of a satin finish There were a lot of missed areas and the edge lines were very sloppyNot only was the paint job terrible but there were drips of paint on her sidewalks! My brother called them to let them know how dissatisfied we were and they said they would fix itMy mom paid her bank to put a stop payment on the checkThey did come back with satin paint and repaintedAgain, it was a rush job to get it all done in one dayIt was dusk by the time they finished and my mom walked with the "leader" to see if everything was acceptableBeing dusk made it difficult to know if everything looked ok but my mom said she thought it didWhen it came time to pay, not only was she expected to pay what she originally owed but she was told she had to pay their bank fee because she stopped payment on the first payment! Totally unacceptable business practice! It was theirmistake and she paid even more for itIt has been months since they completed the job and we are noticing skipped spotsI have since gone over the edge lines to make them look straighter and tried to fix the paint that was slopped on her bricks! We will never suggest student painters to anyoneIt was an awful experience

Student Painters were hired to paint my home in August Crew leader and crew were prompt, courteous an hard workingBesides that this Cois a train wreckYoung inexperienced students with lack of supervision and no formal trainingA horrible business model centering around profit motivation for those above the workers on the groundIt seams to me this Colikes to fly under the radar, no website no local contact numbers, no follow up upon completionTo top this off the job receives a "C" not a Revdex.com A+Word to the wise find a local contractor not an out of state out of site Co [redacted] Ohio

Like many of these reviews this organization is a joke They did work in my area and left flyer on my door I contacted them for a bid This job was for exterior trim Manager came June and said he would follow up in a few days Said work could begin around mid July I gave them a pass until end of July Called for three days and his voice mail was full Emailed company, no response Called corporate office and they said someone would call back Well three days later and no call My question would be is this organization taking advantage of these students At least I did not give them a deposit Very sad but I think this group is a sham Make sure you get other bids so you are not left without a painter

Beware of this group They will write an estimate with sloppy numbers, then at job completion, claim that the numbers that are a 4, are really a 9, changing a $estimate into a $job I am sorry that I paid the bill without demanding a higher lever person address this Their work was acceptable but their business dealings was not

Nightmare experience - DO NOT HIRE - not trained, don't know how to paint, no professional supervision, no respect for your property, damaged furniture, roof & 2 porches, sloppy - paint drips everywhere on everything. Kids had a great time texting & talking on company time -very little painting. A 3-5 day easy paint job took 8 weeks still not done but we'll finish job ourselves.

Student Painters were hired to paint my home in August 2014. Crew leader and crew were prompt, courteous an hard working. Besides that this Co. is a train wreck. Young inexperienced students with lack of supervision and no formal training. A horrible business model centering around profit motivation for those above the workers on the ground. It seams to me this Co. likes to fly under the radar, no website no local contact numbers, n. o follow up upon completion. To top this off the job receives a "C" not a Revdex.com A+. Hiring Student Painter was a big mistake. They were to paint my deck. Only the surface.
On 4-15-13, I hired them. They started on 6-12-13. A year later, the paint is peeling off. The paint they used was Sherwin Williams. I contacted the Sherwin Williams store about why their product would have peeled off. They stated that the surface of the deck was not completely dried for the paint to be applied. This cost me 700.00 dollar for 16"x 14" deck.
When I contacted Student Painters the second time, they said afield representative call me. WELLTHIS NEVER HAPPEN.
So the words Student Painters is correct. They are learning and have no experience.

My mom had Student Painters paint her house trim and garage. For a job as big as my moms house it should have taken days to paint but they rushed and did it all in one day. The next day with the sun shining it looked terrible. You could see the old color through the paint. They also used flat paint instead of a satin finish. There were a lot of missed areas and the edge lines were very sloppy. Not only was the paint job terrible but there were drips of paint on her sidewalks! My brother called them to let them know how dissatisfied we were and they said they would fix it. My mom paid her bank to put a stop payment on the check. They did come back with satin paint and repainted. Again, it was a rush job to get it all done in one day. It was dusk by the time they finished and my mom walked with the "leader" to see if everything was acceptable. Being dusk made it difficult to know if everything looked ok but my mom said she thought it did. When it came time to pay, not only was she expected to pay what she originally owed but she was told she had to pay their bank fee because she stopped payment on the first payment! Totally unacceptable business practice! It was theirmistake and she paid even more for it. It has been 2 months since they completed the job and we are noticing skipped spots. I have since gone over the edge lines to make them look straighter and tried to fix the paint that was slopped on her bricks! We will never suggest student painters to anyone. Do not use this company. We contracted with them back in March to do specific exterior painting. The quote was for $814.00 and we gave them a deposit of $125.00. The job was to be completed by May 10th, 2015. After 3 weeks, we were contacted to say the original student was quitting and we would be getting another student. He came out and agreed to the original contract price and we signed another contract with him ( making the original void) for the price of $814.00 with a deposit of $163.00. The job was supposed to be completed by May 27th. I received a call today from the student telling me he needed to charge me $1200.00. We had a contract that he is not honoring. When we called the manager, he is not willing to honor the contract either. I will never use nor recommend Student Painters to anyone. Very disappointed with them. Terrible lesson on business management for students as well!
