I am not sure what else we can do. The individual had Missouri Weights and Measures come out to check the pumps all was fine. All our fuel logs balance out for that day. If was not paying attention at the fuel pumps, not our fault. It is clearly stated on the pumps (Do not leave pumps unattended), he stated he violated this by sitting in his vehicle while pumping fuel

The ID *** as was mentioned in the statement by ***, all sales and gallons pumped that day balanced. Two days after weights and measures check tanks to insure they were pumping correctly, in fact pump number was pumping more fuel than indicate on the meter (0.04). I am sure he
was the person that called W/M's. Complaint indicated he sat in his vehicle while pumping fuel, our pumps read (Do Not leave pumps unattended)With fuel for that day balancing, it was our feeling complaint have a fuel gauge malfunction.*** ***'s EntInc

I am rejecting this response because: You have cited two items to counter my complaint and they are that I sat in my car and my fuel gauge malfunctionedWhile these might be valid arguments they do not explain the science and math I can use to show your pump shorted me gallons worth of gas.As an example, let's say you have an ounce glass of you fill it to full with ounces of waterNow no matter how hard you try if you want to add more ounces of water it WILL overflowThe ounce cup will not accept more ounces of water. This being the case which is based in pure fact, I have an gallon fuel tank and I filled up on your gas at pump The amount of money paid was $and according to the receipt the cost of gas was $which means I pumped approximately gallons of gasI pulled away from your station and turned left, I noticed the fuel gauge at empty and immediately turned around in the parking lot to the left of your stationI then pulled back into your station and parked at pump againAt this point I went inside and gave the attendant $for pump number and went back to my carI then proceeded to pump $worth of gas into my tank, which according to you already had gallons inside of it which would mean it was fullAnd yet it took all $and my fuel gauge (which you say malfunctioned) showed I had half a tank of gas.Now referring back to my example above, how did my gallon tank that should have been full accept another gallons of gas? How would I be able to put almost gallons into my full tank? Unless in the 30-seconds or less I was away from your station I managed to use the gallons I pumpedAccording the science and logic I could not have pumped another gallons into my tank.So your argument is that "me sitting in my car" and a "fuel gauge malfunction" is why I didn't get my gas? Please refute my math and logic.I do not accept your explanation, I believe something is wrong here and it may well be that it's human error on your part and/or on the part of the inspector with the Deptof Weights and MeasuresI will be contacting the media regarding this because the math doesn't add up which means gallons of gas vanishedAnd I have the receipts for the original $I pumped, and the $I pumpedI even have pictures of the pump showing how much gas I pumped.I am still requesting my money ($32.60) be returned to me and another ($32.60) for my wasted time and the hassle this has caused me
Sincerely,
*** ***
