I would like to respond to this complaint in a simple manner [redacted] was not involved in this transaction except to yell and abuse me for ten minutes at the endLet me explain.Her son [redacted] , who by the way was very pleasant to work with through this job, was the person I dealt with during the repair work we didHe had attempted to repair this Volvo himself and ran in to tooling problems trying to put it back togetherI agreed to try to finish the job for himThis procedure requires special tooling, which only my shop and few others have The job went well overall, the car ran well afterwords and [redacted] drove the car away It developed a small oil leak after a couple of weeks and he returned to have it looked at againWe determined that a cam plug was leaking and installed a new oneI admitted that this plug should have been replaced during the original repair and did this at no charge for laborI tried to get him to pay for the cam plug as that part was not charged originallyWell [redacted] blew up, got really abusive over the dollar charge for the part.Anyway I grabbed the car key off my board, slapped it on the counter and told her to get out of my shop Not a pretty scene at all but I can only take so muchShe actually called the police and filed a complaint with them claiming I threw the key on the floor or somethingA police officer came down to investigate the complaint, wasting my time, his time and a lot of other folks time [redacted] ***owner of Wagon Works for years serving Boise, and proud of it
