Wahidi/GC says he guarantees work for 1 year, House occupancy 11/12/19. Has not fixed reported issues or repaid me for repairs I had to hire.
Three days after moving into house the plumbing backed up. The issue was found to be a test plug that was not removed during construction and a final plug was not put in place. This happened over Thanksgiving weekend. After contacting the Wahidi/GC he waited more than 3 hours to return my call. At 4:00pm on a Saturday night I had to contact another plumber to come and fix the unusable plumbing system at 11:00pm on a Saturday night. I paid this plumber because they would not bill the Wahidi/GC directly on a weekend without a contract. Wahidi said he would pay for the repairs and it was clearly his plumbers issue to not complete properly. He told his realtor his realtor and mine agent that he had the check and showed it to his realtor and that he would send it. He owes me $331.40 with bill provided to him on 11/30/19, still to this day and has admitted in a text to me that he said "I did not lie to u I said I was going to mail ur check.I did not tell when. Did I?" I'm not interested in playing games with this person. This repair was required for occupancy and he clearly has admitted guilt but would not respond to repeated phone calls or text messages from me, his realtor and mine agent as to why I have not received his check. During this same time I discovered that there was a huge draft coming from under the cabinets in the kitchen right where a hole was noted in the sub-floor during one of my inspections during construction. It's clear that this hole was not cared for and they simply placed the cabinets over the hole and now there is a breeze blowing on your feet when you stand near where the hole was during my inspection. Because of his lack of follow through and unwillingness to respond to either me, his realtor or my agent I am filing this complaint to hopefully come to resolution and not only get paid but also to have the hole fixed and insulated as this is costing me a lot of money during the cold winter months to try to heat the home. I simply want what he promised which was 1 year guarantee on workmanship for the home he built.
I want my money for plumbing repairs: $331.40 I want the hole in the sub-floor covered and insulation placed underneath to stop the wind from blowing in my home and costing me a fortune in heating bills. The customer just moved into the house about 30 days ago all issues were handled in a timely manner this customer is always unhappy no matter what you do she's still not happy. The check for $331.40 has been given to the realtor

His check was not for the full amount. He did not come in a timely fashion to solve the issues of a brand new house. He took weeks to respond after admitting fault. I've had an inspector out to the home since his repairs are supposed let complete and there is not full insulation under the crawl space. He is not a good business owner for delaying payment when he already admitted guilt and unanswered phone and texts messages to his own realtor. He lied about sending the check in the mail to his own realtor. He still owes me $.40 because he did not make it out for the full amount when an invoice was provided. See copy of check below missing the $.40. Expect additional insulation be placed under the full depth of the home and that he pays me what he claims he has.
