I called to see if Waits could repair my embroidery machine and was told that the owner could fix itI took it over to his shop explained what it was/was not doing, I was told that it was probably a electrical problem that he could fix itI was given the time frame of days (I didnt expect it to be done in that time frame)1wk later I called to get a update and was told it needed a new part and that it hadnt come in yet2wks later I called again and was told that it needed a 2nd motorOn the 4th wk he called me to say that he could not repair it and that he was taking a lose on the motors he bought (was $Im sure IF he did buy the 2nd motor it was about $also as thats the norm for these machines), he would only charge me $What kind of person can stay in business giving away parts or not charging for parts? Im wondering if those parts were even ordered for my machineI go over to pick up my machine and its not even in the same shape I brought it inThere is not a screw left in the machine!!! All screws were dumped in a bottom of a box or put into the carriage of the machineThe main part of the machine is NOT even screwed onto the metal case! After talking to him, he tells me it may just be a loose or unplugged wireYou didnt troubleshoot that before tearing the machine down to the bare bones? I was on the verge of tears trying not to loose my temper so I just handed him the money and leftI would not take another machine to this business at all!! Ive called Brother and since he is not a authdealer the warranty on my machine is now VOID I do have pictures to back up my claim Also on Waits Sewing Machine Center [redacted] page the woman who gave him a 5star review is his wifeI dont find people very creditable when their family members have to give 5star reviews to bring up your star ratings
