I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

They never specified anything about welding the heads. Their excuse for lateness was allegedly because they were doing repairs to their shop and some of their equipment was unavailable. So not only do they deny that I had made a specific request that they not be welded but they also lie about the conversation we had. I do not accept that and at this point no matter of resolution will be sought aside from a permanent tarnishing of their name proving the kind of lying crooks they are. That would satisfy my complaint

Mr. [redacted] ordered a set of 6.5 Diesel Cylinder Heads in which they were longer getting done, than first specified to customer. When he called back the rd time requesting if heads were ready, that was the first time JR (James R[redacted]-President) spoke to him personally. JR specifically told him...

that he was the only one that could weld heads and that he was behind. That was the first that JR had heard of selling those particular casting to the customer. JR had told Mr. [redacted] that also and JR apologized to Mr. [redacted] and told him it would take another week to repair, it actually took one additional day. Mr. [redacted] contacted JR the day of pick up and told him he was running behind, could someone stay around a little later, we stayed open until 7:30 and 8:00pm. Mr. [redacted] looked at the cylinder heads in our shop and stipulated the heads looked brand new. Mr. [redacted] called back over a week later and spoke to JR, he was very upset and used very harsh or slang insulting words, he stipulated the heads were junk. JR informed Mr. [redacted] he had a warranty, the heads were not junk, he said he wanted his money back. JR stipulated "Sir, if you are not happy with the product bring it back, but there is a $200.00 restocking fee for special order cylinder heads. Mr. [redacted] became very verbal again, using very harsh language. I think you can understand as a business, we cannot perform special work for nothing, when you don't know if or when you can sell that product. My time is worth something. I believe Mr. [redacted] was very embarrassed for what he said, because he sent someone else to return his product and collect his refund. Once again, I had specifically informed Mr. [redacted], I was the only one that could cast iron cylinder heads and that I was behind. I don't know how much clearer I could have been. We are a very professional family owned shop in which we over exceed taking care of our customers. Everything we do we do with pride and we want everyone to be happy but sometimes you have those customers who are very abusive and think they ought to get something for nothing.
