Unfortunately [redacted] is being less than truthful [redacted] is an investor and we have done many projects for him over the years In this instance [redacted] told me that he had run out of money and was going to have to do the painting himselfHe asked me to send him a final bill for what we had completed so that he could payOn three separate occasion he said that he was sending a check but did not do soWhen I advised him that I would have to send a notice of intent to file a lien to protect my interests he became angry and advised me that he would pay but that it would cost me because he would file complaints with Houzz and the Revdex.com which he has doneThe bottom line is that...had we been allowed to finish the project we would have done so [redacted] thought that he could save money by letting us do the majority of the work and then finish the painting himselfApparently he found that there is a lot more to this work than meets the eyeI have been doing this work for over yearsThis is the first complaint I have ever received and it is because [redacted] found himself in a bind because was over extended financially not because anything I or my workers did wrong We would be happy to return and complete the project as originally agreed however payment would have to be made in advance as [redacted] has expressed to me that he is out of money.Thank you for bringing this complaint to my attention.Sincerely, [redacted]
