The refund that was sent in September to the address given was not cashedOur accounting department has issued a new check and the property manager of Walden Pond will priority mail it to the address given again. We have looked in the file, at all ledgers, and with our accounting departments help we only see one $deposit that was given during you stay at Walden Pond. The only deposit check that we show records of is the deposit for apartment ***, check number *** and on the subject line of the check it states apartment ***Is there anyway you can send us the documentation from your bank showing a different $deposit that was given to Walden Pond and cashed? We want to make sure it was not a technical error when we switched our software during your stay at Walden Pond

To whom it may concern,
We have met with
the resident, Mr *** ***, at our corporate office since receiving
his complaintThe Walden Pond management team were not aware of any
issues in his apartment nor any work orders with appliances
"background-">until our meeting with the resident on Friday, May 30thI
have attached the work orders that we have had since he moved in which
show that they were recorded and completed in a timely manner once they
were reported to the management office. These are the work orders for
his new physical address here at Walden Pond since he has in fact lived
in a different apartment here on site alsoWe cannot make repairs to
any items that were not made aware to us
Mr
*** was originally requesting to move out back in December when
we attempted to enter his apartment for a government required minor
construction project. Mr *** was given hours notice and it was a
five hour job but he refused to comply and let us complete the workWe
started researching where he could move to and working with him on his
different options as the attached time line showsAfter repeated
attempts of communication with him and different generous moving offers a
month had passed by and we still had no decision from him so we were
granted an extension on the building work and no longer had to access
his apartment under a deadlineWe withdrew our offer to move him due to
this change in circumstance and the fact that days had passed with
no communication from him on the matterIn February Mr ***
contacted the leasing office asking to move next door since he had
noticed it was vacantWe did not make him, nor ask him to move, this was
his requestAt this point we allowed him to transfer with no fees for
the remaining months of his lease and did not make him sign a renewal
in order to get this newly turned apartmentThis is not normally the
transfer policy but when he told us that he was unhappy and wanted to
move we waived all regular stipulations and allowed him to do soThe
attached transfer letter reflects where we moved him with no chargesHe
did get charged for minor damages in his previous apartment as the
carpet was stained badly and needed extra treatmentThis is a
charge that can occur during a move out inspection
When
it comes to having to tow cars that were blocking him in we have a
courtesy officer on site that checks on the parking situation nightly
and we have not received any record of cars being towed nor have we
heard about this situation from any other residents involved who live in
this building
We have now offered Mr ***
the opportunity to break his lease and pick his move out date with no
termination fees as shown by the attached documentWe have received his
notice to vacate and he has requested to move out of his apartment on
06/16/We have been more than compliant, waiving transfer fees,
termination fees and getting construction extensions at Walden Pond for
Mr *** as well as putting several apartments on a courtesy hold for
him at other Woodruff properties for him to move into, none of which he
ever turned up and applied for
At the
conclusion of our meeting on 05/30/with Mr *** he said that he was satisfied
with the outcome and being able to choose his move out date

Mr*** moved out of apartment on 5/31/and a Final Account Statement was processed on 6/10/please see attachedThe FAS (Final Account Statement) was emailed and due to not having a forward address it was mailed to the
*** *** *** *** in hopes the resident forward their mailThe refund was mailed to our office awaiting the forward addressI did not receive the FAS statement back so I mailed the check to the *** *** *** *** addressThe check was returned to our officeMr*** did contact our office and gave us his forward addressWe sent it to the address given over the phoneThe check did not get returned back to us nor any communication from previous resident so we were unaware they did not receive itThey called in September and we contacted Accounting department and the check was not cashedWe had them void it, print another check out, and had Mr*** email his Germany address this time so we can make sure it was the correct addressWe mail it on 9/8/to *** *** *** *** *** ** *** and again we have not heard anything until now or received check backWe want Mr*** to have his refund back and will be happy to send it out this time in first class/signature to make sure we are both aware he has received his refund amountPlease send us a new address to *** Our records show we only received one $deposit
