This company answered our distress call of no hot water on a holiday weekend ( Dec.23rd), but immediately told us that the hot water heater needed replacement to the tune of I will give them one star....for a return callThey sent someone who never checked the unit out by looking at anything He shut the gas and said it could not be repairedHe told us he could replace the unit and apply the We paid his service feeWe did not appreciate his attitude of arrogance that the unit needed replacement even though he never even got down and looked at it We immediately contacted another company who came and actually looked at the unit and found it was a simple fix of a faulty gas igniter It was repaired successfully....for less money than AMC service chargeWe will get a new hot water heater this winter, but we will never call this company again

I will ALWAYS use Atlantic Mechanical Contractors for my plumbing and HVAC needs and I’m going to tell you why: I’m a new homeowner who has NO IDEA how water heaters work, all I know is I woke up this morning and of my hot water heaters weren’t workingI called a bunch of different emergency repair companies and had to set up appointments, but the techs wouldn’t get to my house at least for another few hoursI called AMC and spoke to one of the guys thereAfter explaining the problem, we were initially going to set up an appointment, but he wanted to see the problem for himself, so he could know what to do and how much to charge meHe then FaceTimed me and walked me through some troubleshooting steps and we got BOTH heaters up and goingHe explained to me what each part of the heater was and how to check if it was on etcto be fair, these were new heaters (~years old) and as I said I didn’t know anything about them so this may seem like common sense, but the reason I will always use this company is because he could’ve easily come out for a service appointment and charged me an arm a leg, just to do something so simple and I wouldn’t have been none the wiserNot only was he knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me (come on, he FaceTimed me!) but does business honestly and with integrity and that’s hard to come by these daysThank you again! I can now go enjoy a hot bath during this winter storm! ??????

It was great service and experience I felt they tried to help me and help me financially the best they canThe Owner Adam was great and it was really nice that he stayed at job until it was done, the company was very professional and generous
