We took our little dogs to Waldenway recently for a week after having friends recommend themWe had our dogs shots done recently and were advised by a vetclinic that Waldenway does not make it compulsory for dogs to have Kennel Cough vaccination done however we made sure our dogs had this vaccination
Once we brought dogs home they both have severe Kennel Cough problem and one of the dogs has been throwing up for last hours so both will be taken to Vet for treatmentI sent Waldenway an email advising of this and they replied indicating that they did have problems recently with Kennel Cough incidentsWe have taken our dogs to other kennels in last yrs a couple of times a year and have never had this problemI doubt we will be going back to them *** *** ***

I took my year old English bulldog to them to look after with a list of instructions and tried to tell them what to watch for and they made me feel like I was stupid for being so over protectiveAfter trying to tell them that these dogs are very heat sensitive and need special attention, they assured me all would be fineJust over an hour & 1/2, they called me and told me my dog died from overheating and only noticed after someone was walking by and noticed the dog sufferingThey only checked the dogs about an hour after putting them in a kennel that I did not want them in that I felt was too warmThey did not listen when I told them I did not want them in this area and they "assured me" all was okThis is a very bad place to take your dog and if anyone wants to talk they can email me @ ***
Our dog ( husky cross) loves to stay at Waldenway and is excited every time we drop her off. We have had her there for 1 night stays and as much as 10 nights with no issues. The staff are very caring and take time to report on daily activities and feedings as well as general health throughout the stay.
I have recommended this boarding kennel to friends in the past and will in the future.
