We did tile the shower and were planning on bringing in a new tiler to perform the high end floor tiling, but was told not to botherWe did perform the additional work and again at a discounted price as the client was a refereed client and we were previously given the job of the tilingWe did receive payment for this a week laterWe were informed that the tile was ready and were then later informed that only the wall tile was ready and that the floor tile was on back orderThe tiler did have to return on two occasions because you can not install tile and then install the groutThe tiler did inform us he felt uncomfortable at times while performing his workThe client also told the tiler that they would perform the caulking themselvesThe tiler left after he did not feel comfortable enough to perform a tile installation of that pattern and difficultyWe did tell the client on the following Monday that we were arranging for a higher level tiler to perform the rest of the work in which we received a reply stating that they were all setNever informed we were "fired"After spending a significant amount of time dealing with the matter we then decided to proceed with legal councilWe sent the invoice to a collection agency as the client would not pay for the work that was completedWe took out the amount for the floor tile as we were not let back in to finish. We will be contacting the local building authorities as well in regards to this matterAll in all we were looking to be paid for the work that was completed and removed the cost of the work that we were not allowed to finish

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***
1. I hired Waldron to tile my shower and floor.2. I did ask if they’d be willing to step in and sheetrock my floor and walls when the original contractor was not available, which they did, and I paid them promptly in fullAt no point did I ask this work be done as a favor. 3. I did alert them early on that the floor tile was back ordered which they said was fineThey did not indicate that this would change the price.4. The tiler installed the wall tile on two occasionsThe first day was a Friday and I was at work and the second installation was a SaturdayI made sure on that Saturday to be out of the house for the entirety of the workAny indication that I acted anything other than professional is a lie.5. I fired Waldron after the tiler disappeared after the third visit.6. I attempted to contact them multiple times in order to work out a payment agreementI sent them the attached letter via certified mail which they received(See attached). 7. They then sold the debt to a collection agency which contacted me on June 1st (See attached)In order to get this ordeal behind myself, I settled on an amount with the credit agency and paid them on June 1st. Regards,

We were originally hired just to tile the walls and floors in the bathroom. We were told it was just a simple standard tile that was going to be used as the unit is in need of a lot of repair work. We were also told that there was another contractor that would be performing all of the other parts of...

the project as it was a full bathroom remodel. We submitted a proposal which was accepted. We then told the client to call us when the tile was ready to be installed. We subsequently received a call from the client stating that they had a disagreement with the hired sheet rocker and contractor and that they would no longer return to the jobsite. We were then asked to come in and perform the work that she had hired the sheet rocker and other contractor to perform. We supplied the client with a discounted price as they were a referral. We ended up performing all of the additional work. Our tiler was on site and installed the tile on the wall as per the clients instruction and our contract. The client was present at all times while the tiler was installing the tile. The tiler also informed us that the client was "very friendly" at times and made him feel uncomfortable. When the wall tile was completed the tiler asked for the floor tile which he was then told was on a three week lead time. We called the client and explained that we had priced the project to be completed at one time and would need additional payment which the client agreed. When the tile did eventually arrive it was a custom design that would require a different level of tiler to install it as it contained a lot of patterns. Our tiler informed us and we contacted another tiler to perform the work. We told the client it would be an additional cost to have a higher level tiler come in and install this pattern of tile which we were then told it was alright and not to bother returning as they had someone else. We then supplied the client with an invoice for the tile work that was completed in which we were then asked for money off and told waterproofing techniques had not been used. At this time we have not received any payment for the tilework that has been completed and have forwarded the matter to our attorneys who will be bringing a lawsuit against the client. We can also provide the name of our tiler if needed to be contacted directly. Please let us know if we can help in any other way. Thank You, [redacted]
