I have been having a serious issue with trying to get my prescription filled in a timely manner. This past week I requested my prescription be filled on Monday, February 24, 2020 and as of today, February 27, 2020 it still hasn’t been filled. This medication is very dangerous to go off of cold turkey however I am now going on 3 days of when I was supposed to change my prescription patch over but can’t because Walgreens won’t fill my prescription. They told me on Monday when I called to refill they had to order more of my medication but it would be on the truck the following day. I have called each day and each day the staff are extremely rude on the phone and say my prescription isn’t filled and they do not know when it will get filled. When I asked if they can fill it partially like my other pharmacy used to do the staff person literally yelled at me told me that this was illegal and they did not believe me that my other pharmacy would do this for me.

This Walgreens is the only pharmacy that I have ever dealt with that can’t seem to fill prescriptions in a timely manner. They are putting me and others danger from the severe withdrawals I suffer from and the literature and prescriptions even state I should not be going off of them cold turkey as I have to do when Walgreens doesn’t fill my prescription timely. The withdrawals are dangerous and can cause seizures or death. The only reason I switched back to Walgreens was because they take the discount cards but the staff are putting peoples lives at risk, including my own. It has been almost a week now since they told me my script was going to be filled and they still haven’t filled it. They will not give a timeline of when it will be filled nor will they work with me or my doctors to do a partial fill, so instead I am left suffering from withdrawals.
