Review: I purchased a new 2015 Acura TLX from Walker Acura on 11/20/2015. By 11/30/2015, the car was in service due to a fuse box defect in which the manufacturer had everything in the maintenance book checked off to be accurate and ok for purchase. I had the car a week, Acura has had it for almost 3 weeks. Acura is in violation of unfair and deceptive practice laws due to the seller whether a dealer or private individual , should be truthful about the car. Clearly in the maintenance book, the fuse box is checked off as good to go. It came from the manufacturer with a defect. A week later, Acura had to order another part that lead to the engine which makes me to believe there was another problem found. As of 12/10/2015, I am still without the car and received a call from the service manager at 1:21p.m.stating that the certified tech broke clips under the cow panel which has made me more in fear of taking the car back. In addition, Acura Corporate Manager [redacted] stated that it's ok for the certified techs to break something while fixing the car and they are suppose to be the experts on fixing it. The law also states that if the buyer is disappointed because it is not as described or doesn't perform as it was suppose to, a breach of warranty action may arise against the seller who has deceived the buyer. I know that Corporate is insured for these type of situations and could buy that defected car back, but don't want to even help me out knowing there is are problems. Not only did the manufacturer send the car over with defects, the certified techs are breaking parts on the car which definitely has me fearful of taking the car off of Acura life due to my own safety.Desired Settlement: Acura is aware of the laws and admitted to it. Even after the certified tech broke something on the car, they still want to charge that to my warranty when I Acura should take responsibility for buying of the parts in which the tech broke as well as the labor. I know Acura is covered under insurance for these type of situations, and I just want them to do the right thing according to the law. However. taking into consideration that this is my 5th vehicle I have purchased from them.

Response:

My resolution is a replacement car of equal value to the one I purchased due to the manufacturer checked off everything in the maintenance book that all parts were checked out and ok and the fuse box came from the manufacturer with a defect along with other problems. In addition, one of Acura's certified technicians broke something else on the car while attempting to repair it. I feel like the car is not safe or reliable at this point due to manufacturer defects and Acura technicians may not be as certified as Acura claim them to be because parts are broken. However, I feel Acura shouldn't be using my warranty for something one of their techs broke. They should take full responsibility for the parts required and labor.

Review: My husband and I went to the Walker Acura dealership on April 20th, 2013 to purchase a new car. With the help of [redacted], our salesperson, we bought an Acura RDX. Our pleasant shopping experience ended with somewhat uneasy feeling due to the pressure from the finance manager, [redacted], for us to purchase additional service packages. We felt that if we did not buy any of the packages he recommended, we would not be able finish the purchase. However, because he promised that we could cancel the service packages at anytime, we made the purchase. Our disappointment and distrust with [redacted] and the Walker Acura dealership was further escalated by the disagreement between the service package we received in the mail and what we were told by [redacted]. He hinted at 10 service coupons at the time of purchase but we found out that the package only contained 8 coupons. Thus, we decided to cancel the service package when we picked up our license plate on June 15th, 2013. After an unpleasant argument with [redacted], he finally agreed to initiate our cancellation to credit the pro-rated unused portion to our Acura finance account by early July. We then realized that there was a cancellation fee associated with this, which [redacted] never mentioned either at the time of selling us the package or when we requested the cancellation. We also asked for the compensation of this cancellation fee.By July 22nd, we still did not receive the credit for the cancelled service package. I called the Walker Acura manager regarding this issue. I was connected with [redacted] and told him about the aforementioned issues with [redacted]. He appeared to understand our frustrations and promised to get our cancellation taken care of ASAP and credit our finance account within a week. He also promised a check sent me to compensate for the cancellation fee. However, a month and a half has passed and I still have not seen a single penny that was promised to me, neither in our Acura finance account nor the compensation check. I hope these were random events, and not a habit of the dealership. I felt that I wasted hours of my time talking to [redacted] and [redacted]. I would like them to be fully responsible for my loss/fee for the service package and my time wasted.Desired Settlement: Refund the amount for the service package returned.Compensate for the cancellation fee and our time/effort wasted on this.

Review: This company has made an inquiry in my credit report which the owner acknowledged was a mistake on their end. I just got my credit report and guess what is showing in my credit report? Walker Acura, this is a piss poor company and the GM told me he would mail me a letter for me to send to the Bureaus and nothing. I even sent a certified letter to the dealership for them to remove the report: [redacted] and it shows as delivered. All I want is this inquiry removed from my account.Desired Settlement: Please remove this credit inquiry from my account. Next step would be a lawsuit.

Review: I have dealt with this company for over 8 months and I'm not even a customer. They typed in my SSN by mistake and pulled my credit report. This is affecting me adversely. I have been told by two of their finance manager that they will take care of the issue and they haven't. I have dealt with the GM and he has also pledged to help with no intentions of doing so. This company is complete crap!Desired Settlement: All I ask is they correct there mistake and remove that credit inquiry from my Equifax report.

Review: I recently purchased a 2012 Altima in July 2014. Two days after purchasing the car,the check engine light came on. I ended up bringing the car to be serviced. This was done several times. I ended up finding out that the car I am currently financing, has salvaged titles. Upon hearing this info, I immediately went to Walker Acura. I have contacted this facility several times trying to have this matter resolved. I have been avoided and been given the run around from day 1 of my nightmare. I have called several times a week. I have also left several messages. On today, I was extremely fed up with the uncaring from the salesmen.Desired Settlement: I want a replacement car, as promised, with my original down payment.

Review: I bought a car on 7/10/2015 and still have not received my tag information. I have called the dealership 5 times and still no response or call back from the dealership. The tag expires on 09/08/2015.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to either send the information to allow me to get my tag, take the car back and send me an extension on the temporary tag that I currently have.

Review: Coupon received by USPS mail has Walker Acura as the sender and reads, "$154.95 TIMING BELT SERVICE." Dealership is refusing to honor the coupon.Desired Settlement: Honor the coupon.
