[redacted] and her boyfriend came to do a trade in after hours. I stayed to accommodate their work schedules. [redacted] came a few days earlier to test drive with her father in law. was used and being sold as is. I did tell her that the car would come with 3,000 miles/3 months warranty from ASC Warranty Company. I told her the warranty would cover everything in the packet I gave her that night. I told her any mechanic shop that accepts the insurance can make the repair. I gave her $1,000 for the vehicle she traded in. Since she came after hours I told her I could not get the vehicle inspected that day but she could either take it to our guy in Bernie or she could bring it to us and we'd take it for the inspection. I believe the next day her boyfriend took it to a mechanic shop in Poplar Bluff and called us upset because it would not pass inspection because of the tire rods and ball joints. He was yelling and screaming mad on the phone. I explained we would come get the car and repair it so that it passes inspection. We replaced the tire rod ends and ball joints to make the customer happy. When we received the inspection failure slip there was no measurement on the slip. When we finished the vehicle I took it to her job and gave her the keys. Some times I am not available and this is why I have an office lady but I was aware of her calls. The vehicle had dash lights on at the time of purchase and my office lady advised we would not pay for another mechanic to work on the car but we have 2 mechanics that are able to do the job. I never heard from her after that until May 23 to make a car payment. No problems were mentioned regarding the car. The warranty she purchased I made no profit on. I don't feel I owe anything back on the warranty because it was never used. Regarding a $1000 refund I don't feel I owe this either because the car was purchased as is. I hate that she is unhappy with our company. If she would like to bring the car back and if the car is sold at auction I will drop the remaining balance owed on the car.

I am rejecting this response because:First off, the warrantee that I was given and also paid extra to get more on does not cover the items that are wrong with the vehicle. I was told that anything that was wrong with it pretty much that that would cover and it does not. Nothing was said about an inspection in till the next day because I didn't have one, so my boyfriend did take it to a mechanic locally and got it inspected where it failed.  This situation has not been handled  correctly, and I believe that Walker auto sales does not tell the truth when they are selling a vehicle nor do they offer service after the sale. I am very unhappy in that manner I have been treated, and I am still requesting a refund of at least the vehicle I traded them for.
Sincerely,
