I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I agree that I am upset with myself for assuming I could rely on pictures to make my opinion And I agree that their website did not have pictures however their website did direct you to Wally website which contained lots of information

We were notified by Ms. [redacted], immediately after the Auction, she was unhappy about the door handles and the missing DVD Player in vehicle that she had purchased on line.Although, according to the On-Line Terms and Condition of the Sale (which I have copied directly from the website and pasted...

below), we (Walker Commercial Services, Inc.) were not in any way obligated to attempt to assist her.We contacted a salesman and the owner of [redacted] and we were told the same thing that they told Ms. [redacted]:  (1)  The DVD Player was broken and would not work, plus the button to put the DVD Player in the compartment was broken so the owner of [redacted] asked an employee to remove the Player.  (This was done before the Auction Previews and the Auction); and (2)  The truck came from the factory with the painted handles.  [redacted] owner thought that it would look more ‘sporty’ if they put chrome handles on it, so they switched them out for the painted handles.  The owner, before the Auction Previews and the Auction decided to put the original factory painted handles back on the truck and use the chrome ones on another truck.  The handles were NOT painted over the chrome.   (This was done before the Auction Previews and the Auction).We encouraged the owner of [redacted] to try to remedy this situation to her satisfaction.  He ordered new door handles and a new DVD Player.  They shipped the parts to her house, which she was aware of because we verified her address over the phone with her.We offer on-line bidding as a method for people that cannot attend the Auction.  We still encourage potential buyers to look at the items, before the Auction.  That is the only way that they can be ‘responsible for the age, description, condition, …..’ as stated in our Terms and Conditions.  Ms. [redacted] paid $15,500.00 plus a 13% Buyer’s Premium for a total of $17,515.00 and according to her home address, she lives 38.2 miles from the Auction Site (per mapquest.com).  We had four scheduled Previews and we encouraged people to come to look at the vehicles and perform test drives.  We estimated that over 400+ attended these previews.  Additionally, [redacted] business remained open until a couple of days before the Auction.  When someone was not on the Sales Lot at [redacted], the lot was open and the vehicles were left unlocked.  This accessibility allowed everyone to verify ‘the age, description, condition, etc….’ as stated in our Terms and Conditions.She also claims that she was ‘relying on [redacted] website’ to bid from.  When, in fact, she was actually bidding from our site on [redacted] – which did not have any photographs showing chrome handles, (they were white), no photographs of a DVD Player or no references of power windows, seats, leather, etc.  Also, Walker’s website, which was the site that she used to, to access the [redacted] – the Walker website has the photograph with the truck and the white door handles.  As a side note, our fully color printed brochure has a picture of the truck with the white door handles. We realize that she is upset and she has every right to be upset, however, not at Walker Commercial Services, Inc.  She rightfully should be upset with herself for relying on pictures that were taken and put on one website, while disregarding the other two sites that she had before her.  Before spending $17,500.00, most people would drive more than 38.2 miles to look at the item in which they are purchasing, especially since there is a ‘no money back guarantee’.  7. ALL SALES ARE FINAL: All bidders are responsible to determine the age, description, condition, and authenticity of all Purchased items. Each item is Auctioned “AS IS, WHERE IS, with all faults” in its condition at the time of sale, without any warranties or guarantees, either expressed or implied, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF TITLE, POSSESSION, QUIET ENJOYMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, and without recourse by way of refund, reduction of the Purchase Price, or otherwise. No purchase will be set aside, nor will Auctioneer be liable, for incorrectness in description, misnomer, errors in cataloging, imperfection, or mislabeling of any item. 22. ACCEPTANCE AND AGREEMENT: Registration and bidding on items in this Auction, automatically implies an understanding of all legal obligation to the Terms and Conditions of this Auction. I am also attaching hereto, a copy of the Brochure and a fill copy of our Terms and Conditions of the on-line bidding.  Per our Agreement with the owner of [redacted], we have disbursed all of the funds to them and according to our information, they are no longer in business.  Please feel free to let us know if you have any further questions.                                                                                  Sincerely,                                                                                 William J.
