I hired Walker Confidential to help find my stepdaughter and her motherShe has been ignoring court orders and fled the county to somewhere in Nevada CityI was told by *** ***, the owner, that after my payment he would send me my finalized contract and get started finding herI should have known this was a complete lie by how easy going he sounded about the whole thingI never received my contract or anything else from him after thatI emailed quite a bit and was told numerous times about progress that was obviously not happeningI was desperate so I believed himEventually he started asking me for more money and thats when I decided to voice my fears and tell him I felt uncomfortable sending more money because he hasn't even supplied me with my contract or any "report" he claimed to have been getting for meImmediately after that he sent me an email basically saying he wasn't going to send me anything without a court order? He had never mentioned anything about this

HISTORICAL OVERVIEW – FILE [redacted] The client, [redacted] (no last name provided) contacted Walker Confidential via mobile phone on or about 3 December 2017 requesting assistance in...

locating an adult female named [redacted] (identification information redacted from this narrative), hereafter referred to as the Person of Interest (POI) and her 8-year-old minor child. These individuals were believed by [redacted] to be residing somewhere in Nevada County. The POI allegedly had a history of chemical dependency issues and was named as a responsible party to a child custody court action, which had been initiated elsewhere by Eugene, the current Significant Other of [redacted] related to Walker Confidential that she was presently in contact with someone else named [redacted], in Nevada County who knew the present whereabouts of the POI. [redacted] claimed that [redacted] was demanding an advance payment of $10K and other unrealistic compensation measures, before she would disclose the present whereabouts of either the POI or the minor child. The parameters of the inquiry request as described by [redacted] were plausible enough to warrant further investigative assistance. Walker Confidential informed [redacted] that additional information and court documentation was required. [redacted] verbally agreed and sent an e-mail message with identification information on [redacted] and other individuals whom she believed were involved. She did not provide any requested court documents on the contested custody, or relate what her full identity was, which would enable Walker Confidential to provide her with a written contractual agreement for the professional services she requested. On 5 December 2017, after an exchange of e-mails, [redacted] or someone affiliated with her deposited the $175 in to the client account provided by Walker Confidential on 3 December 2017. In turn, Walker Confidential performed electronic background checks on the owners and present occupants of the private residence in Nevada City, where [redacted] was believed to be residing at the present time. On 12 December 2107, a Walker Confidential field surveillance investigator, who was nearby the residence in Nevada City observed a juvenile female, which appeared to be similar in age and description to the previously noted juvenile female, get into a car operated by an adult female and depart from the location. The vehicle was followed from Nevada City to a residential location in Sacramento, about 50 miles away. This information was relayed to [redacted], who did not know who resided at this Sacramento location. On 18 December 2017, [redacted] sent an e-mail relating that she had [redacted] a mobile phone by mail. Unbeknownst to [redacted] had enabled the tracking device within the newly provided mobile phone. The data being provided to [redacted] indicated a new residential address in nearby Grass Valley, CA. [redacted] notified Walker Confidential of the new location and requested to know everyone who lived there at the present time. She stated in part: “We really want to know if (minor’s name redacted) is in school, what guys house she is living at and if there seems to be any abuse/neglect/drugs going on”. Electronic research completed by Walker Confidential indicated there was one registered tenant at the new Grass Valley residence. The private property was in a very rural location, which was not visually accessible from an adjacent public road. This information was relayed via e-mail to the client. On 5 January 2018, [redacted] responded to our update and request for additional information. She disclosed she did not know anyone at the Grass Valley location. She requested photos of the residence, which could not be obtained, without trespassing onto private property to gain visual access to the residence. On 7 January 2018, [redacted] requested the subscriber information for two frequently called numbers from the mobile phone [redacted] was given. This information was research and sent back to her. This message was followed by another investigation update on 23 January, recapping the investigative efforts made to date and requesting additional funding for more surveillance on the new residence. Finally, on 7 February 2018, Walker Confidential formally notified [redacted], via e-mail, that the business relationship with her was terminated, citing the client’s failure to provide the information requested at the onset of the project. Per California contractual law, a formal report was prepared, yet could not be sent as [redacted] had never provided her identification criteria, which was necessary to send her the closing report on the investigative efforts taken to date. As of this date, 5 March 2018, nothing has been received from [redacted]. In fact, without the notification of a complaint from the Revdex.com, Walker Confidential would still be waiting for [redacted] to respond to our last request for her contact information. It is the formal position of Walker Confidential that there is no financial compensation due to [redacted]. She received more than she paid for and decided not to abide by the contractual agreement or terms and conditions associated with our services. [redacted] was given several opportunities to initiate the corrective administrative measures requested and failed to do so. Additionally, she would not reimburse Walker Confidential for the additional work completed in pursuit of her investigation objectives and made a written decision not to abide by her financial obligations. Walker Confidential is under no obligation to conduct any investigative efforts for anyone, without agreed upon compensation and stated performance standards mutually agreed upon by our agency and the client. This criterion is clearly illustrated on our company website and was discussed in detail before this investigation was ever agreed upon.
