Review: We contracted with [redacted], owner of Wall-2-Wall painting to paint several rooms in our house to include a ceiling and several walls. We told him we would be gone during the time he would do the work, agreed on a price and off we went. When we returned home we found the work to be sub-par and he hit us with over $800.00 of additional fees stating he had to use additional coats and paint a more extensive area to make things "look right". As we had just returned from a 20 hour car trip and was tired, we paid him the difference after pointing out the imperfections in his work, with the agreement he would return to paint the room he never touched (but was included in the contract) and would touch up those areas that were sub-par. After many phone calls and left messages, he has failed to return our calls let alone complete the work. We have since had to hire another contractor to complete the work at significant additional cost. He was dishonest and incompetent.Desired Settlement: I desire to recover the cost of the re-work with is $1,300.00.
