I paid WSS for 2 years for the HOTLINE service. I knew that there were no guarantees regarding investments in the stock market. I had a reasonable, although below expectations return on my 2 year investment in WSS. The 2 years worth of fees at $4,000 per year for what is essentially a newsletter with "stock investment ideas" that get be easily obtained from many FREE publications on the internet. Other publications give advice for MUCH LESS!! The adviser assigned to me was supposed to "keep a close eye on my portfolio" and call me when appropriate with advice on sell/buy times. He never did, except when for the year anniversary when subscription renewal time came. The adviser was WORTHLESS. My advice.... WSS is a BAD INVESTMENT!!! Take the yearly fee charged and instead invest it yourself. My "adviser" assigned by WSS was worth less then a roll of toilet paper.
Your "advisor" was just a salesman who ignores you after getting payment. They don't even have a staffed position to monitor your positions. They appear to purposely ignore fast moving stock in the news and recommend stocks that might move. The swing service isn't based on breakout stocks. I'm unsure what screener they use but I consistently hit the stops on 50% of recommendations and the random Pay Per Pick recommendations have me sitting on unrealized negative gains on 10% of my portfolio.
