Review: My truck caught on fire on the inside. It was a small area on the driver side. I took it to an auto body repair facility. They told my insurance agent the repairs would be subleased to another facility because they did not do that particular type of repair work. They recommend Wallers Upholstery. I took it there and showed a gentleman whom I met before name before nicknamed "[redacted]" the place where the carpet. was burned and what needed to be repaired. He said he could do the repairs and it would be slightly more than what the insurance company had issued. I went back to the insurance and they advised they would send an adjuster out. I paid Wallers Upholstery $719 on 04/18/2016. The additional amount is $189.54 which I had no problem paying, however they have had my truck for almost a month and my phone calls and visits have been "my employees have been sick I'm behind, I'll have it done by the weekend". I visited the shop on 05/09/2016 and reminded him he had said he would have it ready the previous week. He gave me the same story and said by Thursday 05/12/16. My father went up there on 05/11/16 and inquired about when he would be finished because I have been using my fathers car since the rental expired on 04/26/16 with [redacted]. I phoned Wallers Upholstery on 05/13/2016 at 4:29 and was informed that he was going to work on my truck Saturday morning 04/14/16 until it was completed. I was out of town and had my wife go by the repair shop at [redacted]. She said my truck was no longer in the lot and it was no signs of employees. She called the business in the next sweet and they advised he comes in after 12 on Saturdays sometimes. I then went by the shop after 1 pm and again that evening after 5 no signs of employees or my truck. If I don't call them they don't get in touch with me. Its May 16, 2016 no call or anything.Desired Settlement: I want my truck back and I think I should not have to pay the $189.54 since he has not been in contact with me nor kept his work. Please help me my or I may take legal recourse.
