These people know less about grass and plants than I do. In the latest incident, I called to let them know to tell the specialists I replaced my Bermuda with Zoysia sod and to treat it accordingly. The specialists never got the message and could not tell the difference between the grasses. He treated new sod with weed emergent, which damages roots if the sod is not rooted yet. He then DROVE a MACHINE through my brand new, soggy sod and destroyed part of my new (expensive) yard and created a mud pit. Parts of the grass also turned orange from a chemical burn. I gave them a full day (Wednesday) to get back with us and fix it. Thursday morning I contacted the branch manager and left a voicemail. No one called back (it is now 6 days later). On Thursday I also contacted Trugreen through their main facebook page and website contact page. No response. The next Monday I called to cancel my service and she convinced me to give it one more day because she talked to the local manager who was going to call me that day and come to my yard. Guess who never called.
A few months ago they tried to upsell me on a bush treatment, calling multiple times a day insisting my azaleas were diseased. Upon further inspection, my husband and I realized it was just deer eating them. We treated the bushes with deer repellant and now they look great.
They also kept calling my husband and me to try to get us to SIGN UP for Trugreen, despite me telling them repeatedly, I was ALREADY A CUSTOMER! I eventually had to block their number. It's funny how they can call repeatedly to sell me something but go missing when they screw up my yard.
