The customer has provided incorrect information concerning the age of the product. The actual date of sale was in 1998 making the door 17 years old. The product warranty on this door is 10 yrs for product against defects and 2 years labor. Both of these have expired. The initial request we were...

given indicated that the door was purchased in 2008 and that is why he was told the product was under warranty. We were able to locate the customer’s original order and determined the door was sold and installed in 1998.There has been no site visit to determine the cause of the issues he is having with his door.The KC Company is willing to do a site visit to diagnose the problem at no charge.
