Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint As you can see by the documents previously sent (Revdex.comthat I have reattached here), I paid for the work in full on 6-27-14, the day of the installSince he said he deals in cash only, I insisted on a receipt, I'm so glad I did [redacted] wrote out and signed the receipt himself, right beneath where he wrote that he would stain it on 8-27-I am also enclosing a printout of text conversation and other emails where he never requested a depositMaybe he forgot to, but it was not requestedAlso, there was not a conversation about money being tight, I did not ask him to choose the least expensive fenceIf I had, it would not have been the shadow-box as that is most expensive (Revdex.comis [redacted] hand-written estimate on the arch top fence requested)It's appaling that he would lie about such things.As the attached text printout shows, on the 25th [redacted] wrote "When you come home and see it done"--meaning the I would see that the fence was stained--he wanted me to take my comments off his business facebook page, especially since another customer commented that she and her daughter had the same experience with the companyThe last I heard from [redacted] was on Jan 27th; at that time he said he would come stain the fence the following dayI did not receive any further communication from himHe never said that he had come, and since I DID NOT SEE the work done but did see that he had deleted his business facebook page, I knew that he had no intention of keeping his word that time either I regret hiring Southern Renovation and fencingHe did offer a good price on the fence--the best of the estimates I obtained--but I would have rather paid a higher price than have this aggrivationI have lost all around by dealing with himI did not get the fence I wanted, and now have to pay someone else to finish his workI have no faith in [redacted] ***'s word or his workHe has blatantly lied and accused me of not paying when he is the one who has repeatedly liedI am a single parent/grandparent and as such, have to rely on workmen to follow through with contracted termsI consulted friends about doing the staining myself, they assured me that it was more than I could do by hand alone, and suggested this avenue to get the matter resolvedI would prefer to never do business with him again, and I pray the fence holds up for the guaranteed period so that I won't have to I have copies of estimates from other companies that I obtained last year, I asked for $to cover any price increases they may have but can get new estimates if neededI am asking for relief from dealing with [redacted] ***, and funds to have someone else complete the work before my HOA fines meI will also take photos of the fence when I get home tonight and forward those on to yo tonight as wellThat way, you can see that the fence is not stained Regards, [redacted] ***
