Thankfully this issue has been resolved to all parties’ satisfaction prior to receiving the Revdex.com notice The customers were charged an incorrect amount at our establishment because of a waitress error. As both paid with debit cards, when the refunds were issued, their banks took
the full 5-business days to refund payment. During this time, in addition to the debit card refunds, we also issued to the customers a cash refund, as they were not confident in the refund going back to their debit cards. I am rejecting this response because:The entire scenario was completely uncalled for. They shouldn't be hiring waitresses who steal from their customers. The waitress took $15 from me and $18 from my friend. We went on a Saturday night and noticed the money was missing from our bank accounts on Monday. It took them seven full days to even process the refund. We had called Monday, Wednesday, Friday and the following Monday. My friend and I had personally had to come down to get the $15 and $18 taken from us. The owner and manager didn't process the request from the refund until Friday. There's no reason why it should've taken this long. The waitress didn't get fired for stealing either.
